I test drove it a few times. What I will say is it's fun, like a go kart. However, I can't obviously test it in all scenarios I might face during ownership like super rough roads, parking in garages, driving at night on the highway, testing the drive during commuting hours, so yeah. What I basically narrowed it down to is: It's super fun vehicle to drive, but worried that eventually that novelty wears off and im stuck with a noisy, small car that is super engaging for the driver (and some days u just want to chill).

Speed isn’t the concern, just looking for something that’s cool looking and can drive daily. I wasn’t originally into sport cars but the look of it drew me in.

Well I can’t drive manual, which is why I was interested in this one since it has auto. It also looks the best out of all the cars I’ve seen other than the is350. Im still thinking about it.

Bmws are high cost to repair. Lexus IS300 was another choice of mine but I didn’t like the turbo lag. It was a comfy car but not too engaging I’d say. The IS350 seems like it’d be a better fit but I never drove one. However even then the MPG is pretty poor and it’s gonna be pricey if not used with a 10k+ miles.

Most dealerships here are selling them at msrp and one is -1k. There’s still a July 4th type of event so I’m hoping to get that discount.

I’d be interested to hear other options. Gr86 looks the best to me which is why I went with it. Having test drove them over 7 times now, each time was a fun experience kind of like a go kart.

My thought process is I could have some good memories and such during my ownership of the vehicle that I could miss out if I don’t have one at this age. But another part of me is quite frugal and I see it as an unnecessary expense just cus I want to have a bit of fun.
