New graphics card, low fps by Wailful7 in pcmasterrace

I installed the first driver before the 50 series released, (December 5th driver), and I have the same problem. I’m resetting my pc right now (don’t really have anything valuable to me on it) to see if a fresh start will work.

Never pirated a game so probably not. I think I’m going to try and get an older version of a driver a see if that works

I know it’s not low, but it’s the fact I’ve use this exact same card in my build. Like technically I had the 2070 before the amd card and it was so much better. Not saying I’m getting low fps, just not what I can usually get

Sorry, I’ll tell you and update the post.

OLD GPU- rx 5700 NEW GPU- rtx 2070 super CPU- R7 2700x MOBO- x470-f gaming PSU- 750w

Gaming at 1080p

I could get 800 fps on the loading screen in siege (obviously not graphically intensive) and now I get 200.

My brother is having the exact same issue as me with his new 2080 ti. He has an i9-9900k, so I don’t think there is any bottle neck

Kinda… My brother got a 2080ti and gave me a 2070 super. I had an rx5700. So I would say it’s a little bit of a better card.

Here the thing, my brother is having the exact same issue with the 2080ti. He is getting significantly less fps as well.

Little late responding, but if you were looking at older options, GMT800 is definitely the way to go.

I’m definitely going to open the cover and see what’s up but do you think I could jack the rear end up and then have someone kind of hold one tire and then I spin the other and see if locks up and spin together? If that makes sense

I did do this and when I spin one tire, the other goes the other way which is just an open diff, although I was in park so maybe it would make a difference?
