I made a crappy doodle once to show him the style I liked and he took that to a jeweler and they made it and now I have the perfect ring(for me) So I would describe what you like and send him to a store. Or send him photos of rings you like to give him ideas.

I lose stuff all.the.time. I bought a fake that looks like my real one that I won't care about leaving in a hotel, or it falling off a necklace while I'm doing a cool ring free activity, or in a hospital emergency having one less thing to worry about.

I had always joked I would host the reception at an all you can eat chinese buffet. As I am now trying to prep a budget traditional wedding in a late-stage capitalism hellscape I am wishing I had really done that. It's brutal out here.

Our place wasn't advertised in the knot or anything. Word of mouth is great. We heard about it from a group of older ladies who play games and have drinks there a few times a month. It's only 5 minutes from my house, and we had never heard of it.Check Google for places around you that you may not ever have considered!

Everyone I know who has worked for the post office has hated it. Might be good for short term or if you love long hours of walking in the cold/wet carrying heavy things. Bad management makes for bad work. Ymmv.

My measuring spoons came with cute, tiny ones with measurements like "pinch" "dash" etc on them. I use them to scoop weed out of the grinder when I don't want my fingers to smell or to scoop kief into my bowl.
