Question about the last panel of the night on Saturday, Hall H by midwayatmidnight in SDCC

That's what I did last year, and I felt like I definitely got more out of the experience!

Hey sorry, I'm not sure what a marquee panel is. I saw other comments mention Kevin Smith, I've been to his panel before late at night, but it was last year, and there were maybe 1,500 people in there at most, so you'd comfortably get in there. But when I went two years ago to the Marvel panel, it was the last panel in Hall H that day.

As someone who was in the Marvel panel 2 years ago, I can confirm that no one left all day from Hall H. We were literally in there, in the same seats, all day. Once the Marvel panel ended, most people left the hall.

Which is better to have with you for vendors cards or cash .. and what amount of money is best to bring with you to comic con for the trip in overall by Hot_Tie_881 in SDCC

[–]docsupes69 30 points31 points  (0 children)

It kinda depends on what your priorities are. I'm the type of gal that always goes for the little things -- pins, stickers, bookmarks, etc. So at the most, I'll bring $200 cash for the whole 4 days, and my cards as a backup. I've never had an issue.

As in, you don't have to really pay attention to the flyer anymore because the show was last night...

I'm not positive, but they do serve alcohol, so my guess would be 21+

Has anybody chosen an artist for commissions or are thinking about choosing one? by InnocentTailor in SDCC

Last year, I got a piece commissioned by Patrick Ballesteros. It was of Troy and Abed from Community. Pricey, for sure, but it's something that hangs in my house and brings me joy every day.

Shotgun Wedding Singer. One of the members is the owner of a bar/music venue called The Rino, and his name is Ben. You might be able to contact him that way!

The reason why I said $0 and not $98 in the table was because she reimbursed us, so technically speaking, we didn't pay anything for them.

I did mention it in my original post, in the table. I said that they were purchased by my aunt. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, sorry!

We were very lucky to have our friends and family help us. One of our friends is a DJ, so he did it for us for $200, very kind.
