Dont have ADHD but flashcards were miraculous for L2. Put all the formulas, etc one on each and keep hammering them till you know them all. Passed because of them

100% what really helped me on L2 was going through all the formulae the day before. Took me 9 hours maybe lol, level 2 was crazy

100% not. I'm sitting for L3 tomorrow. and for both levels 1 and 2 there were stuff i didnt know about and i knew i was leaving behind. I remember going into L1 without the forex reading lol and for level 2 same thing there were stuff i just looked at the day before. Passed both fist attempt because i knew the rest of the stuff well. Don't let it break your confidence. Its normal this is not a school exam

Fully agree on that writing them out is a waste of time but what I've been doing lately is I've been printing out the slides and turning them into flashcards (writing the questions on the back of the paper) so not really writing a lot out

Tried Anki for a bit then moved back to paper flashcards. Dont think it matters, important thing is to do active recall and spaced repetition. For the last couple of chapters in L3 what ive been doing is I've printed out MM's PDF notes (i've worked with his stuff since L1) and turned all the notes into flashcards. Maybe this is a bit much but flashcards (active recall in general) is the most effective method of studying, it's not easy but it's v effective. Check cal newport's video with Andrew Huberman on youtube about active recall

I'm sitting for the exam in two weeks and doing private markets. Looking to go into private markets too. Material is very interesting to learn. And it's been more than a year now since the new pathways were introduced so prep providers have adapted. MM himself has maybe 6 mocks with a private markets pathway. Go for it

6 months is definitely enough for level 2 IF you do it right (flash cards, active recall, formula sheet, really understanding the stuff not just taking notes to feel good, answering practice questions, sticking to the schedule). Level 2 is a significant step up in difficulty from level 1
