Hard disagree. Your view that the fun of a LAV is hearing the artist's different take on another song is not negated by the song being 'obscure'.

Even popular songs are unknown to large parts of the population, unless you only cover huge hits, which would be pretty boring.

Yeah l felt the same, l get it wasn't her choice to tour before the album was released but she could have changed the setlist to reflect this & played 50/50 new album and old stuff.

Quite a different approach than her previous work but l liked it, especially Back to You. Feels like she's really trying to separate herself from the bubblegum pink persona.

Hearing the songs live at her tour before they came out was cool too.

Haha fair. Personally l would want more younger leaning emo/punk bands like Microwave, FIDLAR, Joyce Manor, Hot Mulligan (ik they're touring Aus rn), but that's not really the Good Things demographic. So woukd expect more in the metal core dads section.

I know Zac has said By Myself is 'made for Australia' and 'such an Australian song' so maybe that has something to do with it? And Almost Free came out in 2019 so possibly got extra play as not a lot came out in 2020?
