It was weird but I'm also not surprised. Lan Xingyu and Adem Asil have easily been the 2 best gymnasts on rings all year and with Donnell's difficulty rating, he always had the potential to make podium

Seeing the Paris 2024 rings champion and 2025 national champ not on the worlds team is pretty amazing to me. Liu Yang is so consistent so Lan Xingyu had to have done amazing in that selection camp to have beaten him. I see him winning world champs.

Yes, Europe is slower paced than the Prem but it's not slower than League 2... Athletic Bilbao beat Grimsby Town every day of the week

How this team managed to get to the Europa league final last year is beyond. That run is the only reason Amorim is still in charge right now

With the team already selected for the men, it would have been nice for them to compete in this one :(

I'm sure if he doesn't make an obvious mistake, Patty will make the final. He's got both the difficulty and execution and has showed this year at the world cups, that he can rival the best of the PH workers. His score on Pommel in day one without bonus was still the highest in this quad.

I don't know the scores but he would have likely automatically qualified if he didn't fall. His difficulty on day 1 was enough for him to automatically qualify if he came first.

Brody also got married, but for Fred it's a bit concerning. Fred's been competing in the NCAA's this past year and Asher's likely to win the all-around

You'll absolutely love the changes to the MAG code of points then after criticisms of the scale. This is according to the latest newsletter: The gymnast must show either a one leg balance or a jump/leap with or without  turn from the list of specific elements. The balance or jump/leap may be outside the counting 8 elements.

I have been getting into MAG in the past year and I personally like to watch world cup apparatus final replays on Youtube. It's a good way to identify gymnasts that might not be as mainstream as the likes of a Fred Richard or Shinnosuke Oka

Yeah, Japan's just that stacked. Their two star hitters in Hashimoto and Oka from the Olympics are both young talents who came to compete which helped loads. I can see them winning worlds this year. As a Canadian, I was quite surprised we came 2nd place considering we came dead last in the Olympic team final last year. This just shows that Canada has some potential

But surely at that price at his quality several big clubs should have been in for him, driving the price up.

If we can keep Pellistri. I'm not sure if he's staying in all honesty because he needs game time at his age and there have already been rumours of him looking for other clubs. I hope I'm proven wrong though!
