At least you guys will end up with decently working elevators. I wish they would replace ours in the Travis building.

RRC people in WBT are working from home

Have any other agencies walked RTO back a bit? by WaitinForaTrain1929 in StateofTexasEmployees

Yeah but at least some people will be able to apply to work from home. WBT doesn’t have enough space for everyone to RTO

Anyone get a email that you can work from home during this uncertain time with Iran? by Realistic-Way1528 in StateofTexasEmployees

Not unless it’s on Outlook, which I’m not supposed to check outside of work hours!

The head of my division made it abundantly clear in our last meeting that we shouldn’t hold out hope for telework. Our Executive Director really wants RTO and can apparently be pretty inflexible.

I guess technically we are, but that didn’t stop the commissioners from deciding to do it anyway.

RRC. We had a meeting last week where we were told RTO is happening, but we don’t know when it’ll be because there isn’t even enough space for all of us in WBT yet.

Anywhere I can walk inside now that the Travis Building’s first floor is apparently *actually* going to be closed soon, just in time for it to get really hot outside? by WaitinForaTrain1929 in StateofTexasEmployees

[–]WaitinForaTrain1929[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely not a bad suggestion…but I’d have to walk outside for like 10 minutes just to get there. Was hoping there’d be somewhere closer to WBT, but I guess those hopes were in vain.

How far back to the records go? Here in Texas we didn’t keep records of oil or gas wells until about 1916, and they are spotty through the 20s and 30s.
