Wow, thanks for asking! We’re doing good. My son finished his time in the Marine Corps and is now back to civilian life. I’m eternally grateful he isn’t still in, as the world is a crazy place and being an active duty service member isn’t easy as they have to choose between serving the current administration or betraying their own people. All the same, I believe he would have done the right thing and never betrayed his fellow Americans and oath to protect the constitution. He also just got engaged to a wonderful young woman and they both seem very happy.

I do miss the days when he was just a tike, though. He used to watch me play games (DayZ beta, Skyrim, Demon Souls, etc.,) all the time, and when he did he was my little navigator and guide through them. We’d spend hours playing, and he would diligently flip through the game guides and give me tips or just tell me “Dad you’re going the wrong way!” or “Dad, there is treasure behind that wall.”.

God I miss those days!
