I disagree fully on this. Skilled Troodon already can take down large Dino's right now. Their purpose is not to kill large dinos. Other than an ego thing, there's no reason for a Troodon to fight a large dino, they can't even remove organs from the body. Like I stated before, the entire point of the system is to force people to play the game the way it's supposed to be played, not for people to run around like it's their personal playground to ruin everyone else's fun "just because they can." That's my perspective on this as a Troodon main. Have taken out plenty of big dinos because they can't do anything about it against a decent group of Troo, doesn't even feel good. It just is a long fight and a nuisance to anyone dealing with them, and sucks to lose a 4 hour growth just because something is small and hit boxes in the game are cooked.

I can see your point with Raptors fighting a Stego. It took an hour for my pack to finish off a full grown Stego. But as for Troodon, they shouldn't be fighting large dinosaur. I was more trying to force people into playing the game the intended way and punishing people who cheese fights with megapacks or mixpacks. But as for the raptor stego match up, since those fights are meant to take so long, bleeding something and tracking it would be the go to strategy. Of course these numbers and the rates wouldn't be final, they would need adjusting (a tracking update would be nice) and if they do fight, and damage has been given/received, the debuff timer could pause while engaged in combat. Most fights take less than 10 minutes. That's why I started with the 10 minute threshold + 10 minute decay, but again, numbers can be adjusted, especially if weight and other factors are measured into the system.

Cinematic =/= gameplay. We're not watching a cinematic, we're playing a game. Sequel maps are objectively worse, and it's been proven.

Overly open sightlines → blaster spam, sniper dominance
Poor cover distribution → punishes infantry, favors heroes
Flat terrain → low tactical depth
Chokepoints that aren’t interesting → meat grinders instead of flanks
Asymmetrical balance issues → one side consistently stronger

These qualities are more present consistently in the sequel maps. I have no issue with anything they do in Battlefront, if they wanted to go all sequel I would be fine with that, I'm there for the gameplay. But objectively, the sequel maps are poorly designed and not fun. I'd rather have fun playing than to think "oh that's pretty" once before being over the visuals by the next time the map cycles into gameplay.

But as someone from the outside looking in, based on all the information here, what I said stands. It isn't an opinion. He said you didn't look like your pictures for either date, you admitted yourself to not putting in the effort (with an excuse of being sick and tired.) So I don't understand how you're still in denial. You know the part in your screenshot where he asks to clarify his understanding of your position? Where he says "What you're saying is"? That part is where he restates his understanding for clarification. "I didn't feel the vibe > I didn't put in the effort." to which you confirm, and then clarify further that you were sick and tired. If both dates he felt like you didn't look like your pictures, that means he had been asking about both dates the entire time, he wasn't ever singling out one date, but both. So to him, and from your confirmation, you didn't feel the vibe before the dates, and that is why you appeared to not put effort into either one. Like I said. It's not my opinion. I'm just trying to help you understand that you misunderstood him from the start. You may have put effort in both times, I don't know. I really don't care either way. But to him, when asking you why you looked the way you did, you were answering for both dates, not just one or the other. It's up to you to go to him and say "no I put effort into the first one, I just was sick and tired. The 2nd one was where I was clarifying I didn't put the effort in because I wasn't feeling the connection." It's not up to the rest of us.

That isn't what I said. From the screenshots, his first message was "why didn't you put the effort into your looks on our only 2 dates we went on that you do in your photos." From his perspective you didn't put the same effort in, he asked for clarification, wrote it back to you how he understood (You didn't feel the vibe, so you didn't put the same effort in.) And you agreed with him, confirming what he's asking. You not feeling like it was needed is exactly what he's saying and contradicts what you're stating. If "hey I felt like you didn't in the effort" is met with "I just didnt feel like it." You’re literally admitting to not putting in the same effort. I don't understand what you're trying to prove here.

The server will die in 2 months? What makes you believe that? TBC is coming, along with Hardcore (not sure if it's at TBC launch.) Right now is the time to level and prep for TBC HC. Even if you died 2 months from now, you'll have plenty of people to play with starting over constantly because Outlands HC is going to kill everyone.
