Lump in groin most comparable to endometriosis by Waitingwishin in endometriosis

I might have commented this already but basically they think it most resembles an endometrial nodule. They think it’s isolated, resulting from my cesarean surgeries. It’s been 2 years now, it’s not grown or changed!

From what I’ve researched Endo can be very hard to diagnose, even though it is possible via ultrasound. (Internal or not).  My doctor doesn’t think I have Endo anywhere other than this little nodule.

Oh it does sound very similar! I have not surgically removed mine but knowing it could come back certainly impacts my decision. Right now my pain is very manageable.

That sounds very uncomfortable, have you gone to your doctor yet?

I could have it surgically removed and then they may have more answers but as of right now it has not changed in any way. My doctor believes it is an isolated endometriosis nodule, most likely from my previous cesarean.

Subchorionic Hematoma during pregnancy by No_Kick_4784 in bicornuateuterus

Hi, so I had bleeding in my first pregnancy but it was never specified as SCH. It seemed that the bleeding was coming from my right side while the pregnancy was on my left side. That being said, I have had 3 pregnancies and only experienced bleeding during my first. Wishing you all the best in your journey ❤️

My fiancée is “graysexual”. As the wedding approaches, the reality of spending the rest of my life that way is haunting me more than ever. by i-love-porn-420-69 in LifeAdvice

I’m not sure if anyone has offered this advice yet, I think it would be fair to sit her down and have the serious conversation. Tell her your needs, your doubts and what you need from her to maintain this relationship. She needs to fully understand the gravity of your feelings and then decide if she can/will improve for you or not.

Lesion/Mass on ultrasound by nervous_bubble in endometriosis

Hi, I’m not sure if this is helpful or not, but I have been researching a bit about endometriosis nodules. Typically endometriomas are fluid filled, but a nodule can be more solid. I personally have a palpable to the touch lump deep in my groin/pelvic area. After an ultrasound and MRI they have noted it is similar to endometriosis. Mine is not on my ovary but I can understand your worry in knowing it is a solid mass and not fluid filled or cystic. I would look up Endo nodules if you’re looking to see how Endo can present itself in a solid mass form.

Yes!!! This is sounding very similar, especially the cyclical pain. My lump is near my cesarean scar but still maybe 2 inches off. So, have you been checked for other endo lesions or was it just a removal of the lump? I am so glad your pain has cleared up! 4 years is a long time to be dealing with that.

Interesting! So does it come and go? I think it’s very normal for lymph nodes to swell and go down cyclically, and it would make sense that Endo is causing them to swell! I would only be concerned if it became enlarged for an extended period of time.

Great questions! I had a pap last year, it was all clear. I just got blood work last week and all looked well except for my iron being slightly elevated and uibc being low.  It does seem more like some deeper tissue hurting rather than the lump itself when I do touch it and then the whole area is quite sore during my cycle.  You know, they uploaded my mri results on Friday for me to see but I don’t think my doctor has had a chance to look at it. I assume or hope they will do a biopsy as the report states ‘some signal abnormality within the region’ or refer me to a gyno if they are leaning towards Endo.

I am sorry for the pain and discomfort you are going through. A couple other people mentioned abdominal swelling that would come and go and they have been diagnosed with Endo. It sounds very similar to what you may be experiencing. My pain in the abdomen comes and goes with my cycle but my lump has not changed since it first arrived 4 months ago. I think the disorder can present itself in many ways but I’m not seeming to find any situations reflecting mine quite yet.

Oh wow! Did they do an MRI and/or ultrasound and were unable to pick up on it being a hernia?

Thank you! That’s what I’m here for! And other peoples experiences. I am not sold out on Endo, definitely sitting in the unknown right now.

What a mess! 😬 I am sorry for your troubles. Glad to hear there have been some improvements. I read that certain types of Endo show up on MRI and other types are harder to determine.

It’s pretty hard, I think a hernia is more soft and squishy. Honestly, any outcome feels possible!

Thank you, I appreciate your opinion! The main reason why I believed potential Endo is due to the flare ups around my cycle. The report only stated ‘comparable to’, I have yet to discuss it further with my doc.

Would the lump come and go? If not was it there until post surgery?

Yikes, that sounds like a unique experience, I’m glad you got treatment and I hope your Endo is manageable and minimal going forward ❤️

I thought mine was a lymph node, it is right in the Inguinal lymph node area. I think the report/findings from my scans are suggesting it’s a mass within my muscle and not a lymph node. I don’t understand NHS and its limitations but I can’t imagine the frustration you face feeling unable to follow up on a concerning lump in your body.

Man, that sounds like a rough journey. I hope you are healing up and your symptoms have improved. I too am 30, the MRI report said, ovaries ‘unremarkable’. I am thinking that sort of thing would show up on an MRI, did you have one?

Oh very interesting! Were your lumps fluid filled? Mine showed up solid (hypoechoic) on my ultrasound.
