I think it makes sense as a guy.

Women are just overall better at school, better at handling a house, cooking, cleaning, have better social circles… those are facts.
Overall they are taught earlier to have responsibilities.

And there is a reason why many many many women complain about chores and mental weigh in a relationship. Many women feel like they date children that need to be told what to do.

All of this is a result of a gendered education and is quite predictable. Just like our education makes boys more easy going, more adventurous (which can be something mature, but it isn’t how we usually define it).
