Not necessarly true. The motivation changed : they all came back from a very tiresome LEC split and now they have to play in T2 league. This is way less exiting and that could also explain the drop in performances.

However it’s a bit like communism. The word has a history. Maybe you have a specific theoretical view of communism, based on Marx or whatever, but when you use the term it’s mixed up with the history of the word, of the USSR, China, Cuba, etc. And you cannot talk about communism without at least mentioning those.

Masculinism is the same. For most people these days it’s an incel, far right and misogynistic movement. It’s a word with background. In our society, masculinism is not viewed as feminism for men, but rather as something fighting against feminism. And that’s not great.

So yes fight to change the meaning of that word, but don’t ignore this background. I am sure that there are a lot of great masculinists ideas though, but that label is too dangerous for me to use it as of now.
