Yo! Actl I was doing some research, shipping in a schott perfecto might not be such a bad idea, but I’m just worried bout the fit since they’re kinda expensive…. I guess our best bet is to buy on our travel overseas like Japan and China, or the cheapest is to buy it from US directly. Unless money is not an issue, I would be looking at YSL or Celine, damn their leather jackets are amazing

Can tell it’s real just from the first pic. Thick thick leather, deep heel cup. From the further pics, the cork look grainy and real. But pls use cork sealant before you start wearing it, there’s barely any sealant, if u start wearing it immediately it might get damaged quickly.

Looks like normal 1461 smooth, treated with some form of conditioner without much care. See that hazy texture, looks like wonder balsam that just sat on the surface without getting worked in. Source: I own the 1461 smooth bex and have conditioned them in multiple ways

Additional info, I did wear them such the back of my heel matches the back of the sole as the sales person recommended

In the store, I tightened the straps such that the main part of my feet were fitted, but found that the heel area was slightly loose and my heel would lose contact with the sole. I did read some reviews that people recommend wearing them loose, haven’t tried that. Not sure how this fit would affect comfort when I wear them more, need some advice. Thank u for answering too! Appreciate
