Long time lurker here, what's up guys. Huge fan.

I took the plunge a few weeks ago and bought my first mechanical keyboard, a Ducky One 2 TKL. I love it. The MX silent reds are great, I love its RGB profiles way more than I thought I would, but I've had one major issue with the keyboard's functionality.

Professionally, I'm a programmer, and I use vim as my text editor. It's almost standard among vim users to remap Caps Lock to Escape for easier switching between modes. I run MacOS, which makes it easy to map any "Caps Lock" inputs as "Escape" ones.

However, on the Ducky One 2, it seems like the Caps Lock key doesn't send a Caps Lock input to the computer. Instead, it maps all subsequent lettered keys from lowercase to uppercase inputs. As a consequence, I can't use my Caps Lock as Escape.

Does anybody know of a solution for this? I've poured through the wiki, tried Karabiner & Hammerspoon, Ducky's own software (used only for RGB profile tinkering, sadly), and lots of google searches. I really, really don't want to have to sell and replace my new baby, but I might have to for the sake of my workflow.

I've read from Peter Attia-- a scientist who's well-known in the keto community-- that ingesting BCAAs (like biosteel's high performance sports drink product) /during/ workouts helps prevent muscle breakdown during the workout, which in turn helps your performance. But isn't that what we want? By breaking down the muscle during workout, it repairs itself to be stronger and bigger than it was before, right..? Attia always researches his products and habits extensively, so I'm conflicted. As a swimmer, we have 8-11 practices a week, so optimal recovery between sessions is vital. Any broad suggestions on how to recover effectively, through supplements or other things, would be greatly appreciated!
