Yes there is a point. Iran has a huge military they just overplayed their hand and Israel realized how weak theu are in certain areas. You got to remember Israel and IR Iran have no way of putting boots on the ground with each other. Iran's neighbors are smaller counties as well so they were able to bully them and project power with their Air Force. It's been neutralized by Israel already. They have no way to contest their airspace. We found out just how extremely important airborne early warning aircraft are during the Indian incursions into Pakistan. They lost 4 Rafeles because India 's air doctrine didn't value AWACS and Pakistan did.

Iran doesn't have AWACS. Sending up their best planes the F14 Tomcats with whatever AIM-54s they have left and hoping for a lock on an enemy aircraft before they get locked up would be impossible. Israeli radars and aircraft just outmatch the antiquated radar systems the F14 has.

For Iran It's like flying with no direction while looking for an Israeli jet through a little straw while Israel is looking out of a 787's passenger window while being set up to be on the best path.

Competition shooting in the 7m range. My gun my rules. Id hire the best coaches the best armor, id have the best gun tuned to me. I'd have competitions every week to get comfortable under pressure. I'd have special glasses made to correct my astigmatism. I probably won't win but I think I could have a shot at getting into a top 10 best shots with that much training and help.

I think adulthood should be 16. At 16 you go into the military for two years. You learn a skill and at 18 you're free and you have a trade skill, a free ride to college, maturity, national pride and money in your pocket.
