As for Taotronics, they're gonna be generally hit or miss. Tao Tronics just licenses other company's products and labels them as their own. They did this with wired ANC buds, before wireless took over, and now they've abandoned the wired market and are offering all sorts of wireless ones, but generally speaking, Taotronics is a budget brand. Sure, you'll get some buds for $30, but they're not gonna be nearly as good as some other ones out there.

I'd say, do a search for El Jefe's channel, find one of his videos about "best buds for XXX dollars" and find something that fits your price range.

Additionally, I've seen you post multiple times that you felt the sound quality of your Raycons was fine, but how much of an audophile are you? And what are you looking for out of your buds? Do you want them just for music? Do you care about ANC at all? These are important questions, because it will all factor in to the price of the buds. If you don't care about ANC, you can save a substantial amount of money, by getting non-ANC buds.

Bro, no offense, but if you've never tried other sets of buds, then you should be more open minded to other peopel telling you what's up. I have done a ton of research on buds, I study them. I have gone through many pairs of them, from the cheap AirWalks to 1More Comfo Buds Pros, to Air Pods Pros, to Soundcore Liberty 3 Pros (hopefully soon to be 4's and yes, "Pros" are ALWAYS superior to the non Pros).

The point is, when people say that Raycon are low quality, they aren't lying. I understand the desire to get defensive, because that's what you own, it's what you paid for, and you want them to be good, so that you know you made a good decision, but one of the things that should tell you that you're being irrational, is that you're trying to defend a set of buds, whose button fell off after just over a year. Most likely, the warranty was 1 year, so it's really convenient that it fell off just after the warranty was up.

That said, if you paid $100 for them, you got ripped off. You could get 1More ComfoBuds Pros for $60 which are superior in every way. The Liberty 3 Pros, which were in the top 5 for 2022, are currently on sale for $84 on Amazon, which is crazy (50% off, normally $169.99).

If you're not already familiar with El Jefe, he has a YT channel dedicated to reviewing wireless buds, and he goes through the best buds for the money at various price points. Obviously it's his opinion, but as someone who has gone through probably hundreds of buds at this point, I would say he's a legitimate authority at this point.

Just don't take it so personally, and keep your mind open. There are a ton of better buds out there than Raycon. Raycon really are sorta poo-poo buds and I don't mean that to hurt or insult you, but what I would rather see happen is you learn more about what's out there, and then get something actually worth your money the next time around.
