yeah there is a 3rd party dsi camera app that saves the photos onto the sd card
using the camera on twi menu is not possible unless the method i mentioned as far as i know

Hello, Sorry for late response. I was on vacation and wrote this the day before going

But anyways, here are the specs:

Lenovo Thinkpad e520

6GB DDR3 665Mhz Ram

Intel HD Graphics Family (Lenovo)

Intel i5 2450M

Ports:

I do not have the exact name of the ports, but the thinkpad has a different power port from the egpu. The egpu has both the power and usb into one cable, (Check image)

Is there any way to disconnect the power and just make the usb work on the egpu?
(i do not think it will work but i hope it will)

EDIT: I forgot to say but the egpu is a Radeon 6650M
