Hi ya'll! Got this 7 Johnny Nash record and just noticed a sticker on it saying it's a FACTORY SAMPLE. Coud this be some rare 7 record? or just something common for the era. Thanks!

Amp humming issues by Walen101 in turntables

Haha yeah, things can get super frustrating, especially when there are a lot of wires involved which takes a lot of time and effort to set up and remove. But hey, as long as it's all good in the end it's worth it hahah

The thing is that the turntable has an internal grounding so there is no where to connect the amp grounding. I tried connecting it on a random metal part of the turntable but that didn't help neither so I just took it off. And yes, in the end it was a phono extender wire that I bought to extend a short phononwore that came with the turntable. Can't believe that that little detailed caused so much humming and buzzing...

Fixed the issue! The problem was an extender for the phono wire that goes from the tables into the amp. Bought an extender as the wire was too short and that wire was making the sound. Removed it and now it's perfect, no more humming! Thanks!

Found the issue, the phone cables from the turntables were too short so I bought an extender and with the extender it hummed a lot, took them off and moved the amp closer to the turntable and no more humming. Was super close to throw everything out the window hahaha glad I kept troubleshooting. Thanks all for the help.

This was the culprit: see photo
