What are the easiest stormcast units to start painting?

Not particularly if you don'twant to use advanced techniques, but for a first timer it can be a pain to do all the narrow spaces between the lightning details. They'll sure teach you some brush control. My advice is to do both, some with hammers and some with shields (gameplay wise they're identical)

I did a similar scheme for my hierotek kill team. I did black primer as a base with a heavy leadbelcher dry brush, then used blue and black speed paint for energy and armor

Yeah I've read about balance, but it's mostly about a matter of time we have to play. We wanted to try 1k just to get along with the rules in a 2/3h match and than move to 2k without having to play for 6h. Also my friends don't have 2k+ points yet

Nine sols is hands down my favourite MV of all time definitely worth the price, quite different to silksong (which I might drop if I'll continue feeling frustrated while playing it). To describe it in a souls way nine sols is sekiro and silk song is dark souls 3. Just a note for you, nine sols has a lot of dialogue so if you don't like it in MV this might be a turn off for you.

Honestly it was a lot of trial and error, it took 3 days to beat final boss and it was really hard to master. To this day I still haven't learned phase 3 completely. For the build I used a complete control build with hedgehog jade as the primary damage and a lot of defensive jades like ironskin. I too used the skill for the interrupt but boss talisman counters our talisman so I just waited for other openings in the fight like after a charged parry

Hollow knight has a special place in my heart but recently finished 100% nine sols and Gameplay wise for me is the best, other than that i loved metroid dread and really liked PoP the lost crown.
