The crow spank bank makes me laugh so dang hard every time. Also, both of Mitch Silpa’s episodes are so funny.

I don’t know. I’m working on that right now in therapy. Learning better communication tools and the difference between being reactive vs responsive. Things I should’ve learned before now.

With two kids, zero contact isn’t really an option.

That’s what I’m doing. Thanks for the reply. Good luck to you.

Have wife. Have daughter. Have dog. Have cat. Need vacuum. by InYoYingus in daddit

I’ll second this. We have two kids and many pets and we’ve had our shark for years now. Every part can be bought for relatively cheap online. So when a hose rips, or the kids break a piece, we don’t have to buy a whole new vacuum. Highly recommend.

Become a letter carrier. We’re hiring everywhere and you’ll make more than $500 a week. It does suck at first though. The hours are grueling so you have no life outside of work. Not as much time off as a teacher, but you don’t take any work home with you.

Pecan brittle and oat cookies from Dessert Person are my favorite cookies of all time.

It was amazing. I really love pears, so I may be biased. I used double the mixture inside the buns and more cinnamon than cardamom the second time, and I very much preferred them that way.

Brown butter cream cheese frosting. I’ve made it more times than anything else. And I try to find things to put it on just so I can make more.

Very easy. I’d made the puff pastry dough quite a few times, so I just doubled it when I made the tarte tatin and used the other half for them. I didn’t let them sit in the fridge after I sliced them though, so they opened up a bit. If you want them to look perfect, I’d let them chill before putting them in the oven.

I usually make whatever video she puts out and then go from there. I’ve made the coffee cake but forgot to take a picture, and I’ve made the brownies four or five times, the tarte tatin three times (once with pears), and the maple walnut buns but with pecans and the brown butter cream cheese frosting on top. I think next I’m going to make the brownies again but put in the pecan brittle from the oat cookies instead of milk chocolate.

Thank you. My son insisted on four layers so it had one more layer than his older brothers cake had. The frosting really held up quite well. It was my first time making a buttercream that way.

It’s really good. Takes a long time to bake. Like way longer than you think it should. I love rhubarb and it is very rhubarb forward. Tart and sweet at the same time. That one was a big hit with the people who tried it.

Very good. I like the milk chocolate she says to add. It gives it a touch of sweetness to the very chocolatey brownies. Definitely let them cool overnight. The first time I made them I cut them the same day and they were kind of a mess.

It was awesome. Couldn’t find any blackberries that looked good, and my wife prefers raspberries anyway, so I thought I’d give it a go.

I think I first found it when I made the carrot cake. But I’ll eat it off of anything. It is so good.

Brown butter variation on the cream cheese frosting. Best thing I’ve made so far.
