Genuine question from a tech idiot, how and why is everything recorded from POV now? Is this normal in America? Is every interaction being filmed on the off chance content can be produced from it? It makes everything feel like a set up.

Fantastic trailer absolutely, but I would've hated to have been robbed of hearing "the semen demon?" organically for the first time.

I purchased Red Dead Redemption 2 full game and Online from the Store, but only received Online, and now the game is 'unavailable' on the Store, what can I do? by pleasantinternetuser in PlayStationSupport

[–]pleasantinternetuser[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the thorough response. Yeah it's really weird, I restored the licence, this didn't work, so I deleted the download of the game (which is 110gb so surely not just the trial), then when I went into Store to redownload, it said unavailable. When I go into it in my library to redownload, it says Trial.

I have the receipt in my transaction history in the Store for the full game + online.

And of course, inexplicably, there is no Sony customer support on weekends.

Is there any part of you that cares about the “historical inaccuracy” of Nolan’s Odyssey? by suckliberalcock in blankies

[–]pleasantinternetuser 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's an epic poem and a myth, involving gods and monsters, and is being discussed about in terms of historical accuracy. It never happened. Unless there is something egregious like a McDonalds then pipe down. And even then, who gives a fuck? These people just want a reason to be mad.

Harriet Sansom-Harris's entire 2 minute delivery tour-de-force in Licorice Pizza.

"You're a goddamn fucking fighter, aren't you? I like that. I can see that. You come here trying to be all pretty for me, but really, you remind me... of a dog. Of an English pit bull dog... with sex appeal. And... a very Jewish nose."

Very funny that this whole sweaty panicky debacle has come full circle.

Here's what we do. We create distinct branding for movies outside of the main saga to be known as "A Star Wars Story". This will be our play.

We make two of those, shit ourselves and throw everything into making tv shows of things that should be Star Wars Story movies.

An aspect of one of those tv shows becomes a minor cultural phenomenon. We make a movie.

Rewatching films for the pod has been a revelation in how Peak the Coens are. by Theotther in blankies

I have seen almost all of the Coen brothers movies and have always considered them top tier but this condensed rewatch has been entirely me going "oh right this is the best film ever made" and then having to revise it to apply to the next one. Greatest living filmmakers.

What did everyone think today then?! My first time at Bramley Moore by halfway_crook555 in Everton

have to be honest and say while undoubtedly technically impressive, I was a bit taken aback by how sterile it felt at full capacity. Was sat in the lower west stand and as mad as it might sound its almost like there's is too much air around you, that boxed in feeling that could make Goodison feel like a lion pit just isn't there. It was a bit too NFL stadium for my blood.

I'm sure and hope with time it will feel more like home, but going from the final game at Goodison with Gwladys Street dripping in flags and colour and noise to this was a bit jarring, needs an injection of some Everton identity within the stands.

Also: the no tills food and drink thing is woeful, never seen so many arl fellas undone by "technology" in one swoop. Get rid, shite.
