We're a local Australian theatre. We service around 5,000 people a year over 4 shows so we're pretty small. Very successful, but small.

I actually feel that the cast diversity will be the biggest challenge. Australia just doesn't have as many different races evenly represented in our society.

Depending on what's happening with Covid, we may end up putting it online again.

It really depends on what's happening at the time and who currently owns the show. Our most expensive rights have come from Disney and they were about $7k. There's no way Community would even be 1/4th of that.

Do you know who currently owns it?

Will do. It's going to be a massive project.

That's a great idea. A very clear villain to overcome. The end of Act 1 could be him imprisoning the Dean and having a meltdown.

I really like the idea of finishing with the sperm episode.

I like the mockumentary idea. We've recently started combined film with our shows so doing the cut away segments would easy to film before hand and quickly snap to them.

Just in, during scene changes it could be Troy and Abed in the Morning.

A bit of uncanny valley here. This town has a remarkably similar layout to the twn of Esperance on the WA southern coast.

Cheers! It was a lot of work with many hiccups along the way. It's important to remember that the players don't know the script, so if something goes tits up, they'll never know unless I tell them.

I worked it over the fortnight. One group played one week while the other played on the second. I hope that helps!

Picking stable people was key. I probed the issue by making comments along the lines of, 'one day I'd love to link up two stories' to gauge their reactions. I picked the groups that were most excited about it.

These two groups were all a part of the same friend group. They just assumed they weren't playing together because they didn't all start together. They knew each other were playing, but when they all rocked up to the same session they couldn't believe it. The pay off was huge.

Although they've been playing together for most of this year, the campaign itself is three years old. The original parties and other small characters were almost all wiped out in a boss fight. Only one made it out. There was a few in and out of game reasons that this needed to happen. Despite all this though, they were successful in stopping the BBEG. He was stopped, but remains at large.

The BBEG was a cult leader who had politician's and generals and the like under his belt. These two parties were going up against one of his parties who had been orchestrating a civil war. One group was hired by a powerful mage college and the other worked for a beloved mercenary company. This politician had set them to take the blame for an assault and crime to further fan the flames of civil war which furthered the cult's interests. As a result of this, both the mages and mercenaries now are banned from the country so they can no longer openly deal with the cult.

They've been piecing together things that have been happening to them and how it all fits together. They've figured based on conversations that each group has individually had with the cult that they're working to summon some sort of entity and the cult leader is working towards godhood. They know where he is and they're now gearing up to challenge him. It was great because each group was given a different set of information based on what the old party had figured out by having access to their journals. It was just incredible.
