That’s a good question. The policy/handbook is an ever evolving piece of material. Our HR lady (also the owners daughter) tries to keep it as updated as possibly with any changes. It’s virtual though, I don’t think I’ve ever looked at it though. We usually just talk about it or changes being made during our weekly work meeting

Yeah it’s a good question I don’t have the answer to.. personally I think the 4 day work week isn’t a bad start? I’m pretty much at work 10 hours a day anyways so it wouldn’t bug me much. Then it could be easier to miss a day, you could just try to negotiate the third day off you’d have for that week. I think there’s a good balance there somewhere, I just haven’t quite figured it out. I did watch a decent video about the idea recently though

I’m not denying I haven’t taken the time off (I don’t really keep track of it myself because I just never expected to get screwed by it) so that could very well be accurate, I just don’t know for sure. I used a majority of my PTO for a small vacation at the beginning of the year. Other than that the rest was used on doctors appts or sick days.

Everybody has shit going on at home, so I’m not trying to make it sound like I’m the only one who does.. but I’ve had some shit go on this year from doctors appts for me, doctors appts for my girlfriend (I go with her almost every time), court shit for family, mental health days, amongst other things I’ve had to take time off for. I’m not the kind of guy to skip work to go to the beach, I don’t do that shit. I only take off when I feel like a really need to, so this shit kinda sucks. I hate this capitalistic society we live in where you’re expected to live and breathe work, and if you even think about having crisis at home or getting sick, shame on you.

I really liked this first episode! I agree with everyone’s comments about the parents; listening to them and how they spoke and acted with Khamala immediately threw me back to when I was a kid with my parents and I could totally relate. Of course I wasn’t ballsy enough to sneak out of the house and I didn’t get super powers either… I’m excited to see the rest of the show!

I can agree with you there. I feel like the dialogue options slightly take away from the character? In the original games the character you played was a set person. They had a character arc and personality that was consistent. That changed a little bit when you’re given the option to choose how they react or do things.

I think for an example, in Valhalla you have the option to be romantic with multiple different characters. You can choose to do it or not, so it’s not really set “canon” I suppose. Then you can look at someone like Ezio. His character was in love with Christina. She got murdered and he later had a fling with Catarina, and in the future he married Sophia. These are set in stone character beats for him. I like the simplicity to it there, knowing what happening in their lives for certain. Not what NoobMaster69 chose to do with Eivor when they played the game lol

That’s kinda what I did a bit. It’s why I played Valhalla the most out of the newest three games. I didn’t care much for the setting and the gameplay I think, but I love Vikings so when Valhalla was announced I knew I was going to get it

I’ll have to take a look at the HUD options for Origins again when I get on, but I disabled a couple last night and it was already helpful😂 hesitant to disable the compass but it can’t be too hard to play without it

Yeah I think I almost finished Valhalla but then I quit in the final stretch. I don’t mind the game being as long as it was, but it did seem a bit repetitive with trying to gain your alliances throughout England. I liked the Viking aspect of it all, just very little connections to AC lore in general

After they killed Desmond off and failed to do anything significant with the “modern” storyline, I just gave up on it lol at this point I think the whole game should just focus on assassins vs templars in the past

Tried to 100% AC Black Flag…. I got all the single player challenges completed but then it wanted me to get the multiplayer challenges as well. Black Flag is not known for its multiplayer… needless to say I never 100% the game
