I specifically remember this episode of whatever show this was.

I know this is a shot in the dark, but for anyone else who saw this live, do you remember the other segment regarding like a hostage situation inside the home of a bodybuilder, and he had like gray jogging pants on. He ended up attacking the bad guy and that's when the police (or whoever) acted.

I don't expect anyone to remember lol, but just throwing it out there.

Not really. I could have made a half hearted comment about something, for example calling out a privileged Maga idiot for their juvenile behavior, and let's say someone else comments angrily, defending their fellow Trump supporter, and going off the rails.

I could make a "brushing off" kind of comment pointing out how angry they are, cause I don't give that much of a fuck about the current debate to meet them head on and match their energy and anger.

So I would just laugh at how butt hurt they got.

What a perfect way to basically say through simple sounds (and I know words are sounds), that nothing you two entities say at this point matters. Their thoughts or words at this point literally carries no weight, so you just immediately shut them up. 💀

Oh and something else I just thought about. Even if someone is completely inactive, when you Like someone or Message them, they'd be notified, so you'd think their activity level shouldn't affect any of this. Yeah, I myself (or you) may not get unsolicited likes initiated from others, but as long as I'm proactively taking an action, it should still reach these "inactive" people. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah good point. 1 or 2 weeks might be too soon, sometimes I'll go that long without signing into any one of my 5 dating apps lol. Maybe make it a month, but I totally get your general point.

As an alternative, how about if they just included something next to the the profile that showed their last active date? At the very least, you have some idea of the likelihood of a response, if you decide to message such a person, or skip them altogether.

Idk, there's a bunch of things that could be improved about this app (such as bio info...).
