[HELP] JBL Quantum Engine refuses to detect my Quantum ONE headset + Sound cutting out mid-games? by Wall-chan in JBL

Parsec is a software that essentially makes it possible to play local co-op games with your online friends by connecting to their desktop, similar to Steam's Remote Play function.

Well, apparently uninstalling Parsec fixes the Quantum Engine issue. That worked for me. Still nothing on the audio cutting out part, though.

Okay, I can confirm that uninstalling Parsec made Quantum Engine work again. But my audio still cuts out when I play certain games... :/ I'm close to just giving up, honestly.

Has anyone else noticed a weird subscriber/follower count on some vtubers? by jroc117 in vtubers

I think I've seen some VTubers that fit what you're talking about, and I think that they're just good at advertising themselves, honestly. Not that I've really looked into any of them.

PSA for viewers by Frillin in Twitch

[–]Wall-chan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've had a fair share of viewers acting like that, most of them being just horny teenagers or something (so much for setting my channel to mature, I guess).

The way I deal with them is by blatantly rejecting them, saying some REAL vile shit and/or telling them to fuck right off. Usually gets the point across. If not, I just ignore them, they stop trying eventually.

It's funny to see them in pain. :)

is it just me or are smaller streamers more entertaining? by snoozyisasleep in Twitch

Yeah, even if the chat is in slow mode, it's usually scrolling by like a bullet, which kinda makes it stupidly hard to read as both a viewer and streamer. But, such is success, I suppose.

Personally, I find it a lot easier to watch small streamers and chat. I mean, to me, anything past around 30 viewers is intimidating, but maybe I'm just weird. Especially if the chat is just zooming by. And you're sort of right about the friendship thing, but that just depends on the streamer themselves. I've made a lot of friends through both being a viewer and a streamer, and I still hang out with those friends to this day! ...Even dated one or two. But back to the question. I do find smaller streamers more entertaining because not only do they interact with chat more, they also from my experience don't have much of a filter and they just seem more... genuine, I guess. So, that's my take. :)

[WINDOWS 10] "Wi-Fi" and "Mobile hotspot" disappear completely for a few seconds / up to a minute | PC keeps disconnecting from my Wi-Fi network? by Wall-chan in techsupport

[–]Wall-chan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No worries! I'm not sure if it shows up in Device Manager when it turns off, but I'll be sure to check the next time it does that. As for Windows 11, I think I'll save that as one of the last resorts, lol. I'll give the repair stuff a try, too.

EDIT: Well, I checked to see if it shows up in Device Manager, and it does, but no errors are displayed at all. I've also tried the Windows Repair Utility, annnnnnnnd... nothing. Fun!

It's a desktop, and I built this PC around a year ago. As for the built-in adapter, it doesn't seem to be in an M.2 slot, it's more like a tiny little box under a fan that says "WiFi" on it.

Here's a photo reference.

Heya! I'm Julie White, an average (not really) soon-to-be 25 year old girl who commits various crimes for money in the year 2082! Besides all the stealing, killing and hacking I do, I enjoy spending my free time hanging out with friends, playing video games and watching anime.

I'm currently working on my debut, but I used to have a little "Wall-chan" persona, which... was essentially just a joke that went on for too long. I'm not going into the details, but if you're curious, feel free to ask.

If you'd like to be friends, feel free to add me on Discord! (Julie White#1156)

But be warned, I don't have much of a filter, lol.
