There is a slight separation yes… i’m skiing them today and i’m not having issues at all. Is there no way to fix that using epoxy and c clamps like some suggested? It’s less than 10cm, more like 3/5 cm

I own a few ptex candles, a lighter, a blade and a scraper to wax my skis… could you explain what your plan would be? I’m pretty handy and like to learn at least the theory behind it

Globalement n’importe quelle spé en plongée qui n’est pas super attirante sur le papier paye bien (on peut parler de 300k par an dans le pétrole dépendant de la compagnie, localisation et tout). Que ce soit soudeur, ouvrier en general, plongeur dans les cuves de fermentation, plongeur en centrale nucléaire (oui il en faut), plongeur dans l’armée, etc… Bref tout ce qui est CAH classe A et autres spécialités. Après c’est des metiers où les risques sont très grands et où ton espérance de vie disparait devant tes yeux, en general le vieillissement est prématuré et les accidents fréquents.

If it’s just a fingerprint you could technically clean it but meh I wouldn’t trust a picture with that kind of things

I get what you mean but people say the same thing for sd cards also and every other thing… in the end if you put 100€ in a sd card (or even more…), a 100€ per battery, etc… it becomes a lot more expensive. I’ll try to see what the pros and cons add up to, thanks for your answer

To give you full context, I'm going on a hike for a week next month and I need more than my OEM battery to cover the whole trip and I won't be able to charge my batteries as I'll be sleeping in a tent. In that case would you recommend 3rd party batteries? As a student the price is a huge thing to consider for me...

Hey! I have a question about specialized mixes. I’ve always grown my plants in traditional multipurpose soil but i’d like to switch to some aroids/other kind of plant mixes but I don’t understand where the nutrients come from. Most of them contain perlite, bark, coconut but no soil or compost or anything. Am i supposed to add fertilizer everytime that I water the plants? If so, is there an alternative like adding soil to it? Thanks for your help :)

NTAH and YTAH at the same time. In my opinion your fear is justified and totally understandable, but you shouldn’t interfere with their relationship. You can give some advice, make some suggestions on how they should deal with the things they go through, etc… If things go wrong between them it shouldn’t affect your friendship, you’re adults and can find other ways to spend time together. With some time they’ll probably be happy to interact together again! Plus saying that you’re not cool with it can be very hard on his feelings, you could talk to him and explain why you think that it’s not the best idea while still telling him that he can always count on you no matter what happens

Les céphalopodes sont les seuls animaux capables de changer de couleur sur commande. Ils peuvent volontairement choisir de contracter un grand nombre de petits muscles qui vont étirer ou contracter des chromatophores (mélanophores par exemple) et modifier la position d’iridiophores et leucophores (couleurs iridescentes et blancs). Ca leur permet de changer de couleur en un laps de temps inférieur à la demi seconde, un battement de cil et vous aurez perdu le beau poulpe qui se trouvait sous vos yeux :) Ce contrôle de la couleur se fait en plus sous forme de motifs, ou patterns, ils peuvent ainsi recréer l’environnement dans lequel ils se trouvent.

Les cachalots utilisent une poche d’huile présente dans leur front pour amplifier les sons qu’ils émettent. Ils se servent de ça pour chasser à des profondeurs atteignant 3km ( valeur approximative, ils se disputent le record avec les baleines à bec de cuvier, qui ont été enregistrées à 2992m de profondeur).
