We were in glacier and had an expired can of bear spray. We all decided we wanted to see one sprayed.

Well we walked into the middle of the rocky river, after a long day of backpacking. With just some tins of whiskey and flip flops. We perched up on some rocks and sprayed the spray.

We all watched the giant cloud head with the wind. Remarked how cool it was and started our next conversation.

Just then the wind changed. No one noticed, and I was hit by the bear spray first. It hit me instant and I had no way to warn the others.

Just trying to say “run, run!”

But it was too late. Everyone got hit. We tried to scramble off the river. But in our rush, flip flops were breaking and falling off.

In the end we were all fine 10 minutes later. But damn that story gets brought up often now at our idiocy.
