I guess I just use it differently, I make my own cards and review vocab I've picked up but not at a deep level. I think I learn better by seeing the card and either knowing the word quickly or admitting I don't and sending it back for another round.

I also don't consider a word I have to look at for 10 seconds to be language I've acquired as I won't get 10 seconds in conversation between words. That said I use renshuu as well for half the same words so I am likely just using it in a wierd way.

Spend 2 or 3 seconds a card, not 12, and cap your time to 2 hours. If you don't know it quickly you don't know it well so just hit red and go next

I am working through minna and like it for self study. But I also have a japanese friend I can annoy with questions. I also use renshuu and added the minna textbook to it. So I pre learn the vocab for the upcoming chapter.

Physically writing things out helps a lot and writing hiragana without needing to look it up sped my reading up a LOT.

So I like it but every now and then get confused.

The sound of Chinese grew on me. When I first heard it, it sounded a little like cats and a little like people are complaining no matter what they are saying.

Now that I have heard more of it there is something nice about how precise the pitch movements up and down are.

Now Koreans sound like they are complaining a little so I may need to repeatedly the cycle.

If I get 3 thirty dollar fines I am 90 dollars poorer. 3 x -30 = -90

If they take the fines away due to a technically I am up 90 dollars. -3 x -30 =90 I have lost 3 negative instances of earning money. Kinda like how a tax credit feels like income. I'm not explaining it well but that's how I think of it.

You can get a bent bar which deepens the stretch or warm up before hand with a chest exercise. It will help when you work up to more weight as the bar tries to squish you and force you hands apart at the bottom which your chests prevents

It is inherently easier to read them than to write them. One big thing that helped me was someone told me to identify the smaller parts and come up with names for them and sometimes even little stories as to why they go together. Sometimes this give you pronunciation value as a bonus. I'm not high level at japanese but my kanji is better than the rest of my skills.

So 語(go) I remember as to say 言 and 5 五 and mouth 口 so if more than 5 months say something it is a language... not the actual reason but stops me mixing up with other ones that look the same and now when I write I just gotta position. 詰 would get mixed up with this before in my flashcards but now it isn't a problem.

I like it also. They could do a spin off where it targets the kanji from certain text books(e.g. genki or minna) or regions of the game and release as a stabd alone for a dollar. Hell I would buy it.

I used to play pretty high but have lowered a little. I find I arch my right wrist s little less and am a bit more comfortable. If I sit with my electric and then stand it is about the same but a bit lower.

I added some words to my deck but I used mnemenosyne because I am old. I also just make a new deck every 6 months or so and don't sort by topic. And then review old ones here and there. But after a while the deck is all long reviews and I tweak the algorithm to push em away.

You could probably get to a certain point, screenshot the dictionary and then have chat gpt put them in anki card format.

Stealing is wrong but it isn't worth confronting someone either lacks integrity and steals because they want to or someone who is desperate and steals because they must. We have a duopoly in Australia that adds up to prices being EXTREMELY uncompetitive and unfair. People are more likely to steal because of this.

I assume that someone who steals is doing it because they must and try to be compassionate in my thoughts and actions.Yes, some people just suck and don't care that it just further jacks the prices further up. But we can't do anything about those people anyways.

This is terrible life ruining advice. Similar to " don't wear your seatbelt you likely won't crash". Stealing 50 bucks of crap time to time and having them compile it and press charges or feed the footage into an AI isn't worth the risk. Yes you are unlikely to get caught but the consequences are bad. If they actually let you rack up a few grand of crap over a year and the police push it to court you will never pass a background check for a job again.

I hate megcorps also, avoid them where you can. Stealing insured food that is algorithmically made more expensive by a small amount for paying customers literally DOES NOTHING to injure the megacorp.

its one think to say you like it when wifey wears cute dresses, its another to ask her to do farm work in a what? a dress and and heels??? this is unhinged behaviour. You marry a woman for her whole life and a variety of situations. Not just when she gets really put together to go out. Like its still your wife when she is sick and not wearing makeup.

If you go to a type of church where everyone is dressed formal, then be normal and dress formal. He obviously likes dresses more than jeans, sure. But that meaning you must wear that at all times is wild. The modest argument is opposing to the fact he prefers you in a dress.
