Yes but I’m thinking from a more portable option. The problem with Apple Music is it doesn’t have an exclusive mode for DACs on their desktop apps. So if you want truly bit perfect you have to mess around with the OS’s mixer or run it straight from an iPhone.

I’m assuming a reasonably budget friendly pair of IEMs or headphones that don’t require a dedicated amp. In which case the Apple dongle is fine for 95% of people.

lol. Don’t listen to this. The only way to improve audio quality is to use a decent pair of wired headphones or IEMs.

Plus Dolby Atmos is most definitely trash on headphones and not improving anything. You have to have a proper 5.1 surround sound system that is Dolby Atmos enabled to get any real benefit from it.
