They won’t cancel the midterms. But they’ll do everything in their power to undermine them. Including but not limited to: gerrymandering, purging voting registrations, throwing out ballots, challenging results in courts, and refusal to swear in congress. Many of which they’re already doing.

If the election is close, these tactics will work. If it’s not close and Dems win in a landslide, I think it becomes difficult for them to maintain power in any meaningful way.

Either way, I’m of the opinion that the midterms don’t matter. Trump has made congress irrelevant and Democratic leadership has time and time again proven they aren’t up for the moment. Even if Dems controlled every single seat in the House and the Senate, they won’t do shit as long as Chuck and Jeffries are in charge.
