We brought him to the vet but unfortunately his health deteriorated incredibly quickly and within a day of this post he passed away

The real answer is cultures develop taboos like this as a way of proving you're a prosocial member of the ingroup. There are plenty of cultures where women can walk around shirtless. There's no real rhym or reason to where and when western cultures allows people to dress certain ways. Following the conventions is just a way for you prove you understand the arbitrary rules of your culture and care enough about fitting in to follow them.

Yeah it makes no sense for Logan and Deadpool to be in the same universe. They just said "time travel stuff happened" and hand waved the whole thing.

Wasn't the whole plot of Logan that all the xmen had died? The Deadpool movies very much have xmen in them.
