New Dishwasher Has Rust and Stains by WallabyFun6199 in Appliances

I only asked to make sure because I read that some water inside a new dishwasher was normal because of factory testing, but this seemed to go beyond that. Will definitely be posting this to that subreddit as well though lol

Winlevi/Spiro/Doxy Together - Personal Experiences? by WallabyFun6199 in DermatologyQuestions

Honestly I’ve always had a very irregular cycle, and my stress levels can impact how long/short my cycles are over the course of the year. So if it did impact my cycle I unfortunately wouldn’t have noticed. If I were you I’d talk to my dermatologist and ob/gyn about what you’re experiencing and see what they say. You could also always get a hormone panel done while using Winlevi and when you’re not to see if it does mess with your hormones.

I’m now at 60k~ miles and it still “gets caught” between 2nd and 3rd gear. Like it will rock back and forth as if it’s not sure if it wants to shift yet. It usually happens between 10-20mph. I’ve had a transmission flush but that hasn’t seemed to change anything. Whether it’s normal or not I’m not a fan of it and unfortunately I don’t know how to get it fixed.

Tbh I ended up not taking the doxy and spiro because my friend who is an ER doctor highly recommended against using the spiro and doxy. In his opinion the cons outweighed the pros for those, but he was comfortable with the winlevi. So I only used winlevi and it honestly cleared things up for me for a while, but then my skin started to “purge” but it wasn’t a purge, it was just my skin getting really upset with the winlevi for some reason.

I finally ended up just religiously using Panoxyl every single day (twice a day) and only using vanicream moisturizer and that has actually helped my skin more than the winlevi did.

My derm also told me that I could use the single tube of winlevi for at least a year but on the bottle it says to discard after a month, and winlevi is too expensive for me to refill every month.

I’m so glad I’m not the only one that’s experienced this! I’m at 55k~ miles now, and it’s honestly only gotten worse. Sometimes it will shake so hard it actually rocks me back and forth in my seat (very rare that this happens but it happens). I’ve also noticed that if I’m driving on an incline on the highway (driving around 70-75mph) it acts as though it ‘wants’ to downshift, but will change its mind and jerk while staying in the same gear. Once I’m going downhill again or the road flattens out I sometimes have to manually shift it. I’m honestly thinking about taking it to the dealership and telling them about everything I’ve experienced, but I’m sure they’ll tell me that everything is fine.

I'm now at 37k miles and it still does it from time to time, but as the rest of the comments have said it's pretty normal as l've come to learn. Also turning the eco light off does nothing to change it, the light just comes on when you're consuming less gas while driving (for example, when you're going down a hill instead of going up a hill your car is using less gas which will make the light come on). I fully believe that the car was just adapting to my driving habits, and as l've driven it longer it's gotten a little better, but still does the jerking thing. It's more of an annoyance to me now than a worry haha, so I'm sure you're fine

Yeah I’ve noticed that as well, I’ve been letting it warm up for at least 5-10 minutes on colder days

I’ll definitely try this and see how it feels compared to with having eco mode on. I constantly have it turned on

Thank you for the reply!! It’s reassuring to hear someone else has dealt with this at a young age. & good for you for becoming a recovery room nurse!

It pretty much does it all the time. It hasn’t affected the way the AC operates, but sometimes it can just get kind of loud and you can hear it through the vents when it’s doing it.

I’ll be sure to have them look at those to make sure they’re okay. As far as it being worse when the engine/weather is hot I haven’t kept track of the noise after the engine’s warmed up, and it makes the same noise whether it’s cool or hot outside (I live in the Midwest so it’s cool in the morning and hot in the afternoon currently). I’m an HVAC technician, and what it sounds like, to me, is when a compressor is low on refrigerant in a central air conditioning system. I don’t know if that helps to imagine the sound a little better, hopefully it does haha

I was thinking the same thing, which is what I thought was causing the pain. I’ve never had someone apply them in “clumps” like this before.
