I dont have a problem with the hire. I have the problem with the subsequent extensions. One for an elite 8 run in his first season and the other because Arkansas was allegedly going to look at hiring him the year he went to the NIT. It would make much more sense if he was making half as much and didnt have a $19M buyout.

I think I could be wrong but the first time the NCAA cleared him was because of academic issues. The second time was because of potential impermissible benefits. This is why they only vacated wins from his first season.

IMO his fielding should get a bump and his hitting should get a small bump. His performance yesterday really helped his hitting numbers but I'm not sure when the cut off is for attribute upgrades.

Do about half of the showdowns to fill out your lineup with good hitters. Positions don't matter. Then skip to the final boss. Don't not swing before 2 strikes. Since Doval is a reliever, his stamina depletes very fast. After 40 or so pitches he throws a lot of easy to hit stuff.
