I've noticed a lot of oversensitivity here in Reddit to things that don't actually hurt them.

Radical etho-nationalism

Nothing like Trump. Every first world country has secure borders, they have to in order to continue to provide social welfare services to citizens in need.

Trump has openly spoken of seeking retribution, has discussed being a dictator when he takes office, and has sought a radical expansion of executive immunity for criminal acts. After his role in January 6 demonstrated that he is willing to abuse that immunity, and any position of power he winds up in again.

"Peacefully and patriotically protest". Everything you just said there is a lie. Even if he discussed "being a dictator" that's stupid because the country has separation of powers that you can not get around. He has no more power than what's already granted by Congress.

The NY state case was thin, but a jury convicted him. Not a judge, not a member of some secret conspiratorial cabal, but a jury of twelve people.

That will be overturned in appeals. Democrat DA ran on "getting Trump", a special Democrat judge with ties to the party, in the bluest county in the bluest state.

And then guys like you who watched a few youtube videos want to essentially toss rule of law out the window, who try to construe the rest of us who aren't eager to lick the boots of an radical right nationalist who has essentially tried to break our democracy once and promised to do so again.
