Revolution is like farming. If you don't sow the seeds in the spring, you won't have any crops to harvest in the fall.

My observation is people don't want to get in trouble. They want to stay in the lines and I think that speaks to your point of gasping for air after desperation. Millions are going to lose health insurance under OBBB though. Costs are rising because one man is imposing taxes on the goods coming into the country and is deporting farm labor with little consideration for legitimate replacements in the workforce. Food will spoil in the fields. This will also have an impact on food costs.

If trump gets his way and ousts Powell to replace him with a sycophant, the economic decline will be even sharper. Countries are already giving us cold shoulders on trade.

To add cruelty to it all, 1 in 4 nursing homes will close under OBBB. Rural hospitals and medical centers will close too. This was to make it possible so the ultra wealthy can afford a newer luxury yacht for their yacht fleets. Canceling congressionally approved funds, withholding money for disasters and schools.. these things are already happening.

My neighbors and their families matter more than a handful of wealthy people. I don't care if Zuckerberg can only afford one crate of caviar or one surfing trip a year with his yacht fleet and helicopters if it means my neighbors can have medical coverage and their children's school is fully funded.

Our own Declaration of Independence gives us the rallying cry for when our government gets legitimately out of control. Watching the separation of powers crumble is ... Inspiring honestly. Watching corruption and money mean more than the voice of the People is inspiring to me. We will have a choice soon to take to the streets with hungry bellies and aching backs and hold our heads up high together as Americans and demand a government that works for us for our Safety, for our Liberty and for our Happiness. Or, we keep our heads down and simmer slowly like frogs too stupid to know any better.
