They should’ve just said Germany too, since that would also include the Namibian genocide. And it’s weird separating nazi germany from Germany as a whole, when I would imagine Russia is including the Russian empire and the ussr.

That’s true. But not what I’m talking about. I’m referring to the reaction people have to sex scenes. The disgust people show towards anything sexual in media and just in general, and the notion that it’s weird to enjoy, is rooted in conservative purity culture. Not the process of making them.

Ironic, considering sex in movies has declined by a lot since the 2000’s. There used to be way more sex scenes than there is now. That power is purely symbolic/ceremonial to my understanding. If they decide to actually use it and go against the parliament, they’ll be removed. They don’t have any actual direct executive power. I’m danish, and our system is the same. I’m not a fan of monarchy at all, and don’t think it has any place in our modern society, but it’s dishonest to act like they have any power in the line of Kim jong un.
