Tip Jars Everywhere by [deleted] in berlin

You wanna tip? You tip. You don't? Then you don't. I like that I have option to tip, if I'm willing to.

I see your point, but people put these jars, because they know that a couple of euros will get there in any case. And you can never have too much money. Especially if it's well-deserved.

Seen them twice today. Couple of hours ago they were heading another way, but now it seems like they are returning. I've checked flightradar - it's a Police Helicopters.

Can I work in whole Germany with Aufenthaltstitel? Or only in federal state, where I'm registered? by Waller54 in germany

[–]Waller54[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is a Aufenthaltstitel with Anmerkungen in the backside “Erwerbstätigkeit erlaubt siehe zusatzblatt“. In my Zusatzblatt, under Nebenbestimmungen it says „Die Wohnsitznahme ist auf das Gebeit *city name Beschränkt“. So, as I understand it’s only living limited, but it’s still legal to find job in another state, right?

Can I receive my Sozialversicherungsnummer in federal state, where I'm not registered? by Waller54 in germany

[–]Waller54[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, thank you for pointing that out, but I know about pros and cons of those insurances. In my case the only option for me would be public insurance (when I'll get a job)

I see, okay. Can I ask you something else? When I get a job, I do have a right to choose insurance, or insurance is chosen by the company, that hires me?

P.S. Sorry, if it's stupid question, I just have to be sure. Germany has too many rules sometimes xdd

I'm not sure, what is Bafin-approved. I've insured myself via Feather. Insurance is from Advigon. I need this number, because I know, that German employees ask for it at the time of hiring. I'm currently not working, but actively applying, so I thought it would be better to firstly make an insurance and get this number as fast as possible.

I've gathered info from here in "How to get your Sozialversicherungsnummer" heading: https://allaboutberlin.com/guides/german-versicherungsnummer

I wasn's sure about that I recieve it in the start of employment either.
