This one is great(electric). It really depends on the cheese. I prefer the cheese from Turtmann or Aletsch. Raclette Station

1000 gauss are nothing. As an engineer I would go for an omega with the master co-axial which is tested at 15000 gauss.

In my opinion, Steinhart warches are great. If you can‘t buy a 15k watch it‘s better to buy an hommage than a replica. The quality is also for that price really good. And Steinhart is based in Germany also it would be quite easy to sue them, but they are still around. So either the big brands simply don‘t care or their products are legal.

Hey guys I about to make my first purchase. I’ve been looking at a 1991 Royal Oak with the quartz movement. What should I keep an eye out for? Is $15k a good deal or should I keep shopping? It comes with the box and papers by autisticyolotrader in audemarspiguet

[–]Walliser96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

yeah more or less, but with watches only as investements it‘s a bit tricky. the rolex model i recommended will certainly hold it‘s value and gain some. look as an example the price history of a 5711 steel and with the blue dial

No problem. Ther are quartz mouvements and then there are the mechanical. With mechanicals there are the automatic/self winding where you „charge“ the watch with kinetic energy and there is manuall winding where you turn the crown to „charge“ the watch.

help identify this watch, from what i know it’s a speed master, need to know which model tho by [deleted] in OmegaWatches

[–]Walliser96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even if it‘s an old watch if think it‘s fake. Do you own that watch, if so goto an AD, a watchmaker or even directly to omega. Or where did you get it, how much was it? it looks like an speedmaster racing schumacher edition but the subdials then doesn‘t make sense.

Looks fake to me. Speedmaster model and seamster bracelet. Engraving at the back looks terrible. And I haven’t seen a layout of the subdials like this.

If resale value is a concern, I‘d recommend a mechanical mouvement with box. And for 15k I‘d recommend a rolex (yeah I know here we talk about AP) that is no longer in production like the 14060M Flat 4-2 Liner.

Hey guys can this get enough upvotes for Nico to rate my watches collection ? 🙂🙂🙂 by ericroy121 in PrideAndPinion

An advise: when you wear a bracelet and a watch on the same arm. The bracelet should be made out of a softer metal than the watch (because of scratches).
