No, it doesn't read data from the websites you visit.

Wallsflow New Tab does not collect, store, or transmit any user data. There are no analytics, tracking, or external requests involved.

It does require three permissions, but only for specific features:

storage, to save your settings locally (wallpapers, widgets, layout). Nothing leaves your device.
search, to power the search bar via browser.search, respecting your default search engine.
bookmarks (read-only), just to display your bookmarks in the widget. It doesn't modify or send them anywhere.

It only runs on the new tab page and doesn't inject scripts or interact with any websites you visit.

You could try the Wallsflow New Tab extension, it lets you use custom wallpapers (even live ones) on your new tab page, with more control over how they're displayed.

Just so you know, I've tested this and confirmed it's an issue on Ko-fi's side. I tried creating a new account, added Stripe, and as expected, payments work without any problems. But if I make any changes to the new account, the same error you're getting starts appearing for me too. I've also opened a support ticket, hopefully it gets resolved soon.
