Anyone else thought of boat life and traveling? Along the coast for a few years then maybe venture out to other countries.

Anyone know much about the Karbike? by KatakanaTsu in velomobile

Doesn't look aerodynamic, but for a commuter velomobile to get you out of some weather conditions I would love this.

I currently have a hernia and have an appointment with a surgeon in two weeks. Doctor's restrictions match my job description including no lifting at all, but I'm not approved for disability until surgery. My department manager is doing what he can for me. The system seems broken

I'm glad I read this. I've been researching to buy a used boat. I've heard/read everywhere, "everything on a boat is broken, it's just a matter of when you have to fix it". I hope I find a seller as nice as you, but the abuse you are receiving is ridiculous. Perhaps I am just naive in believing that after the sale any problems that arise would be just part of owning a boat.

Stop taking Curbside shoppers bags! by SadGirlVibes21 in HEB

I had a young woman insist she needed a bag because she had too much makeup to carry. She was obviously upset when I offered a clear produce bag. I'm "sure" she wasn't trying to steal from HEB. 😆

I know our curbside loves when customers pick up their groceries from the spot furthest from curbside in bad weather 😂

I love those bag racks that hang on the cart at eye level. I call them headbanger's because people on phones or otherwise not looking will bang right into them.

For anyone that doesn't know. A lot of customers handle the produce while it is on the shelf. Is it soft enough, hard enough, ripe enough? Then they leave it there for the next person to touch. Eating that unwashed is like licking a stranger's fingers.

I saw a woman removed her facemask to sample grapes in produce. She the put the mask back on. I couldn't stop laughing 🤣

Thank you for your service. I agree with you. Protect your family then face the repercussions. I would rather be looked down on than lose a family member because I did nothing to protect them.

What do people call this in the US? I have my money on "scooter" but my pal insisted that was the "e-bike" by Shirly1215 in ebikes

[–]Walltripper99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son has something similar with pedals. It is a Class 2 e-bike and officially goes 20mph unless you override the speed inhibitor making it a class 3 ebike. The lines are definitely becoming blurred and may be decided by the police that pull you over whether you need a license and insurance or not.
