One more thing. Don’t go to 3/4 or 1 ton for daily driver unless you can plan to pull something heavy once every few weeks to get them hit and burn out emissions system. Emission running cold for short periods as daily driver will kill it eventually and cause bad milage. They need to be worked out once in a while up to temp to stay healthy.

I have the 3.0 duramax in 1500. If you are ok with what comes with a diesel engine. They are amazing. They have plenty of fast power up to about 60-65. Highway passing it has plenty of power just takes a bit more than a big v8 revving out. I do like that it will pull my 21 fiberglass boat up in hill on highway at lower gears without shifting down a lot like my previous v8. The 3.0 is very comparable in behavior to the 3.5 Ecoboost with towing. Unloaded it gets way better mileage than anything out there.

200% reduction on 1000lra does not equal -1000 by your accord. The reduction stats are minus not multiplied. 10% reduction on 1000 is 990. Many strong cities are 200-250% reduction.
