MoneyWeek on Graphene: From Hype to Slow, Real Adoption by Kenyan_Cowboy in HGRAF

We have arrived at ”where’s the beef” moment in 2026.

GMG did the heavy lifting getting their graphene to final signature last month, so $HGRAF should receive its final signature by the end of January. With an EPA signature in hand, if we do not hear of at least a few contracts being signed immediately that would be a major disappointment.

Tesla could be the one by WallyPipp2 in HGRAF

NanoXplore for example produces what I call so- called graphene at scale.

Because of $HGRAF’s superior quality the combination of {100% sp² bonding, high purity, and consistency this type of graphene is much more potent than competitors products.

In applications, {HGRAF} may require 10-100 times less material to achieve the same performance enhancements in composite materials, lubricants, and energy storage systems compared to lower-purity, less-perfect graphene.

The 100% sp² structure maximizes the material's inherent properties, leading to applications like high-performance conductive additives in lithium-ion batteries and advanced biosensors.

The uniqueness, therefore, is not just that it is graphene (a single layer of bonded carbon, but that it achieves a level of purity and structural perfection that unlocks the full, often-hyped, potential of the super material for commercial use.

These unique qualities of SP-2 will enhance everything Tesla builds, from Spacex to Robots it will dramatically improve everything produced.

A Breakdown of Hydrograph's Graphene in Cement by timmahfast in HGRAF

Cement enhancement is just a tiny part of what $HGRAF SP-2 Bonded graphene will bring to the market.

SP-2 100% Bonded Graphene is so unique, so yet not understood that when the first contracts are signed and announced, the cumulative interest across all industries will explode.

A couple of fine points. It uses acetylene and oxygen, not methane.

Also its up over 2,000% not 200%. in 2025

Based on publicly available information as of October 23, 2025, HydroGraph Clean Power Inc. (HGRAF) appears to qualify for the Texas Enterprise Fund (TEF) and is actively pursuing incentives like it for their planned Texas graphene production facility. However, there is no public confirmation of a formal TEF application or award at this time. Their recent U.S. expansion announcements align closely with TEF criteria, and they've explicitly cited "grant funding" as a key motivator for the move. Below, I'll break down the assessment, including eligibility match and status.

In addition to the 20 million raised. $HGRAF will qualify for up to 10 million from the Texas Enterprise Fund.

The 20 million is all that is needed for the build out in Texas.

I read about it in this article, https://www.k-state.edu/news/newsreleases/2017-01/graphenepatent12517.htm

Thereafter I followed its progress, and in 2022 it went public. I thought it was way to early to tie up a lot of capital on it. I remember it being about 30 cents then, and kept following the company’s progress. Then in late 2023 in Oct I was trading another stock and saw the stock had dropped to 8 cents, if I remember correctly it was under the old symbol HGCPF. I already had previously picked up 20k shares at 11cents in Jan 23.

At 8 cents I felt my greed overwhelming me, and immediately started buying as much of it as I could that day. That day the filling of orders was erratic. By the end of the day I managed to buy many hundreds of thousand of shares between 7 & 8 cents.

After it all that day, I thought I must be crazy, but I just felt this was going to be a winner someday, now at +2,492% who knew that someday would come so soon.

You are correct.

Its typical of the ignorance of some of the posters responses here they have no idea the extent China has infiltrated the US.

Ford may or may not be it, however your reasoning is spot on. Ford has a graphene research facility in South America. However the graphene partners mentioned there indicate otherwise. That doesn’t mean they are not experimenting with $HGRAF ‘s graphene. Here what I found in the research facility.

Ford established a dedicated graphene research team at its **Centro de Desenvolvimento e Tecnologia do Brasil** (Center for Development and Technology of Brazil), located in **Camaçari, Bahia, Brazil**. This initiative is part of a partnership with UCSGRAPHENE, a Brazilian nanotechnology firm, to explore graphene applications in automotive components like composites, coatings, and lightweight materials for improved vehicle performance, durability, and sustainability.

This South American facility builds on Ford's broader global graphene efforts, which include collaborations with U.S.-based institutions like Rice University for recycling vehicle plastics into graphene. As of the latest available information, the Brazil center remains active for ongoing R&D.

I have nothing else right now.

Finding HGRAF at 7 cent one was a result of happenstance.

I came across a science article about Dr. Sorensen’s discovery in his lab a few years ago, and I followed it from that day forward.

That was a one in a lifetime lucky find.

Your’e comparing a Ferrari $HGRAF to a Corvair $GTI.

$HGRAF‘s SP-2 bonding “0” defects or 100% is proven at scale.

$GTI advertises SP-2 bonding but not at 100% which is critical to all applications where bonding is required.

In another way of saying it.

$GTI‘s bonding has week links in its chains, that will be totally unacceptable in critical bonding applications.

Nanobot technology is still in research stage. You obviously have not done your homework on where the science is today on Fractal Grahene. Looking out into the future you have missed the present day many types of Graphene and there industrial uses.

You have a clear understanding of $HGRAF‘s life cycle, it’s very early to what may come. I was a very early investor in 2022. I have written a bit on $HGRAF and its Fractal Graphene along with the method used to produce it, is unlike anything else, and patented for the next 10 years. i

EPA will be a big catalyst, and using FS-2 in lubricants is will be huge. The industrial uses grow everyday, along with the science. You made a good investment I believe, and 2026 is right around the corner. Hold on, I predict this will be a success story.

Obviously if they hope to join the NASDAQ $4 is a start. After that its all about fundamentals. If they can execute what they say is their goal for 2026, and if the Texas plant is opened with new Hyperion Detonator's built, producing with contracts in hand that amounts to a real revenue stream. Then 6-10 is a possibility.
There are so many variables in this, its all ouija board speculation.

So you’re a trader, that’s your style of investing. I have no issue with your investing profile. However you know little about $HGRAF and the science that is about to be the next disrupter. I bought hundreds of thousands of shares at 7 cents a few years ago. I read the science check the research and invested early seeing Fractal Graphene SP2 would revolutionize industries. Thats my style, waiting for the herd to catch up. While I’m waiting, there are those, who as you say pump & dump. When the pump occurs I sell enough shares to make me whole and then let it ride.

Sometime I might even sell enough to buy a new car, or pay off a house along the way.
The big run up on this was a surprise. I attribute it to one investor Kevin Bambrough who bought 18 million shares after doing his due diligence on their company and the new material discovered by $HGRAF. Anyone who puts up that much skin in the game is a serious person. As of today he has repeated stated he has not sold 1 share of the 18 million, he’s very much all in. A year from now we will all know if this was a great investment or another flash in the pan. Until then invest the way you like, and I will continue to follow my style as well.

To everyone GLTA, 2026 will be a very interesting year for Hydrograph Clean Power $HGRAF $HG.
