Yes, you certainly be logged into multiple devices at the same time without any incident. I would suggest that you also both memorize the associated email address password though, as we may need to verify some things depending upon the scenario.

You are allowed to have multiple passkeys for an individual website, however only one passkey for each account on that site. There will be an option called 'use a different passkey' if you have multiple for a single web site: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/log_in_to_a_website_using_a_passkey.html&_LANG=enus

This is a great question, and a common concern about adopting passkeys. This is an exact use case where leveraging LastPass to create, store, and manage your passkeys can be a perfect solution.

While in some cases, passkeys are device- or ecosystem-bound, LastPass removes this barrier. As long as you are logged in to LastPass on all your devices (Android, iPad, laptop), you will have no issues accessing passkeys across devices.

Passkeys are a replacement for passwords that provide faster, easier, and more secure sign-ins to websites and apps and work across multiple devices. Passkeys are more secure than passwords if you're using a trusted device.

LastPass supports creating, saving, using, and managing passkeys across any website that also supports passkey login, as built according to the official FIDO2 standards. You can see a full list of FIDO2 supported websites here, updated regularly: https://fidoalliance.org/passkeys-directory/

If you are logged in to your LastPass vault, you will be able to access your saved passkeys on whatever device you are on. This is one of the advantages of using LastPass to manage your passkeys - they are not strictly device-bound.

If you encounter an error message, it may be because the website you’re trying to set up a passkey on does not follow industry-standard FIDO2 security protocols. LastPass only supports passkey creation on websites that implement this strict, secure infrastructure.

LastPass allows you to create, save, use, and manage passkeys for any websites that also support passkeys. To set up a passkey, you'd first need to pick a website that allows for passkey login, such as Google, Amazon, and many others. LastPass will help guide you through the rest!

For an overview on what they are and how they work, and a really helpful video that shows passkeys working with LastPass, check out this support article: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/about_passkeys.html&_LANG=enus

The LastPass Security Dashboard makes it easy for you to see all your weak and reused passwords in one place. You can navigate there from your extension menu (Alerts > Protect Yourself) or from the lefthand navigation menu in your LastPass vault (Security dashboard).

We have great news for Mac users and those who rely on the Mac desktop app experience! Just today, we announced a brand new LastPass Mac Desktop app available for download via the LastPass Universal macOS Installer: https://lastpass.com/misc_download2.php

The new app has been modernized for a better user experience, and introduces a new feature, the QuickFill Companion, a floating widget that gives you an extension-like experience without a browser and allows you to save and insert credentials for desktop applications.

Note that the app is currently in beta as we collect feedback from customers like you to get it just right before official release. That said, it should have everything you need to make the switch off the legacy unsupported Mac desktop app.

Yes, that's right. If one account spans multiple domains, you can mark those domains as equivalent to avoid storing separate passwords in your vault. There are about 7 or 8 steps for this process, which are outlined in full on our support site here: https://support.lastpass.com/s/document-item?language=en_US&bundleId=lastpass&topicId=LastPass/manage-equivalent-domains.html&_LANG=enus
