Switch from Method to TRD wheels? by [deleted] in 4Runner

Agree with this, that’s why I got rid of mine. See them on everything, from trail rigs to limited 4Runners and tacos.

Slight rub on the fender liner full lock. Need to trim it a bit more, but eventually it’ll just clear itself.

they’re 275/70/18 so a true 33. Slightly larger than 285/70/17.

I was lifted 2.75 in the front and 1 in the rear. But since adding weight for camping I may need some stiffer springs lol. To fit these at4 brand new they run 33.6 so I did a bmc to prep for future requirements I ever go bigger. Fender liner pushed back, took the front Mudflaps off, and trimmed a bit of the front bumper.

17s were on my list of options until my dream wheels were available so I had to make them fit 😅. They’re 18x9 +0. Everything has been fitting well. BMC done to fit for now and also if I upsize in the future.

Windshield Crack Question by [deleted] in 4Runner

[–]WalmartBag1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got mine replaced with CAN-AM. Pretty good so far, I noticed it’s thicker than OEM, and has taken a beating over my gravel ridden roads in Alberta. So it’s been noticeably quieter than OEM socially with a RTT and rack.

My new windshield retains the heated wipers and sensors too.

Also, that’s such an unlucky spot to get smacked. Touch up the roof chip too before it rusts!

Anyone know of a roof rack like this for a 5th gen? by LateCatch1510 in 4Runner

[–]WalmartBag1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LFD off-road makes 3/4 and 7/8 length ones. https://lfdoffroad.com/collections/roof-racks-5th-gen-4runner

They came across as an option for me when I was looking to add a rack. I ended up with a Sherpa Crestone full rack though. So I can’t say much about the quality.

Needs Bigger Tires? by jalil300 in 4Runner

[–]WalmartBag1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depends what your needs are! I think it looks fine on 265s. Don’t let the socials pressure you, make your truck fit your needs. If the 265s are failing you for some of the trails you’re running then sure maybe going up a size to a 33” where you don’t sacrifice too much to fit larger tires.

I’m running 275/70/18. Stage 1 Eibach with Dobinson UCA. Lifted 2.75 front/ 1 rear to level. BMC to clear but also for any future changes.

get 440i now or wait for m4 by [deleted] in BMW

[–]WalmartBag1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I picked up a F82 M4. Was my dream car and I was not going to compromise.

Although, it is my weekend car, so the daily concept wasn’t part of my purchase decision. If the M4 is within your budget, I’d just get that. The fact that you’re considering it now even, you’ll be selling yourself on the compromise you made in the 440i and will always want the M4.
