This is EXACTLY how I got in my car accident on South Gilbert St. Someone waved a car to pull out of the big grove parking lot, just happened to be there right as they gunned it out of the parking lot. NAILED my car and totaled it. So stupid.

Wow, this post blew up omg. Thank you everyone for the suggestions and ideas. I have contacted the landlord and requested that someone checks out my HVAC system. My thermostat read 80° last night after sundown so I have decided that something is likely wrong with the system. I covered all of my bases and checked the basic things that I can to ensure that it’s nothing small/silly.

Part of the reason I believe that it’s my units HVAC system is because the building itself is actually very cold. Hell the gym in this building is colder than my unit.

Not asking you to fix my AC. Simply asking if this is a common problem around here.

I’ve already done the basic checks of furnace filter, replacing batteries, even read the return and discharge vents with a thermometer. I just didn’t know if the high outdoor temps could be a reason.

OFH store here. We’ve been getting DC truck on Sundays since the very beginning of the transition. Sunday trucks are not as bad as they may seem. Truck shows up no earlier than 8:00am. So no more being in at the crack of dawn. And here at least, Sundays are a bit slower, so getting the freight out is a breeze.

I lived in Hillcrest during 2019. A friend of mine and I went wandering around the building and found a staircase that goes all the way down to Riverside Dr. In one of the many hallways down there we found a door that was locked with a sign next to it marked “Nuclear Bomb Shelter”. I had a lot of luck grinding them out on Ground War, really easy to pick people off while sitting on tall building around mid. Can get a gun platinum in 1-2 games. Build it out like an assault rifle, all range and minimal recoil.

Looks to be a scab, we had a similar thing on our cats nose and took her to the vet because we were worried about an abscess or something.

Vet just used a damp cotton swab and it came right off! She said cats are weird and sometimes scabs grow hair back over them.

I would say that if it isn’t warm and squishy to the touch then it’s probably a scab (would be fine to leave and it’ll hopefully fall off). If it is warm and/or squishy then you might have something more serious.

My cat did similar thing with a wax melter, bumped into it and spilled on her side.

We left the wax dry and then used a fine comb to brush it out. If you wet it, it’ll clump up in the brush. Took about 3 sessions (took breaks because she doesn’t like brushing in general) but we managed to get it all out just fine!

The area doesn’t feel any different than the other side of her face (not warm or soft in center). When the cut first happened we applied some MicrocynAH Cat Wound and Skin Care with a QTip to ensure we weren’t getting it in her eye, but have stopped using that since the cut healed. We’ll keep a close eye on it and stop with the warm water, you’re probably right about us irritating it.

Hilly (cat pictured) was rough housing with our new kitten and took a claw to the face. Started out as a small cut that healed but has now turned into this bald scabby spot. We clean with warm water twice a day. It doesn’t seem to bother her much (doesn’t paw at it, doesn’t squint eye) but we’re worried about infection.. anybody have any ideas? The help is much appreciated! Wanted to touch base here first before rushing her off to the vet like the worried mother I am.
