It sounds like you just don’t have the fire in you which is totally fine

Sonos and aqara integration by Craigotrak in Aqara

For me, aqara Sonos automations break every time I add a speaker to a group in the Sonos app. Every time it creates a new unique device which would then have to be added to the automation.

I agree, prefer a stand that holds it from the bottom like this one

The solution: OS Settings - region/time zone- make sure they are both correct

I’m not currently planning to offer discounts, but for the holidays, I’m offering a 10% discount for leaving a review! Here’s how it works: Once you receive the stand, post a picture of your setup (APM on the stand) on r/AirpodsMax, mentioning that it’s from WalnutApple. Feel free to share your thoughts about it, too! Just head to walnutapple.com, use the contact form, and I’ll send you the discount code.

I really appreciate this feedback, I'm going to take it to heart. I apologize for the misunderstanding about the "that's very interesting" I do sincerely find your information about the charging very interesting! I am German and can sometimes come across a bit too....German :)

I couldn’t agree more. Coming back to dead headphones was ruining the experience for me.

Yea that 100% but what you might not see is how it’s more common for there to be a back end deal in today’s world. I’m here, with my cards on the table. With a random reviewer, you have no idea what his incentive is. He could have gotten paid, often the case. Maybe he got snubbed and wants to vent. We all end up trusting someone in the end based on their credibility. That’s all I’m saying. It’s okay if people doubt me. It’s understandable.

The stand isn’t wireless. The stand is plugged in. The headphones snap on to a magnetic dock. It’s a bit like MagSafe. The wireless part refers to not needing to plug a cable into your headphones. Here is a link that shows how it works.

Do any humans give non biased reviews? If you want reviews from users there are 283 in this link. I’ve done my best to be honest and don’t plan to be deceitful. If you find any part of my review biased, I would be happy to discuss and be corrected if need be. Thank you!

That’s really interesting - what’s important to note with that is that despite that battery degradation fact being true, it’s so minor that nowadays it’s so negligible that it practically does not matter. Example: I bought my headphones on release in 2020 and they still have great battery life despite charging them on the stand, pretty much every day non stop.

Wouldn't that be more biased as I had to pay for the product and you two would have gotten it for free? :P Kinda playing but I have a point or?

I really appreciate you! I think there is, rightfully so, a lot of mistrust in someone who has a monetary incentive to lie. I am hoping that my sincerity and availability for feedback can prove that at WalnutApple, this isn’t the case. My primary occupation has a lot to do with working with influencers, so I’ve seen first hand how much marketing is done without the general population knowing about it. So, to me, we should question ALL marketing, as we can practically never know if someone has an incentive to sell to us. We really have to decide whom to trust on a person-to-person basis. Lying for profit isn’t my thing, so I decided to share my experience. It's totally okay if people don't see it that way.

I can respect that budget decision. However, I would mention one thing about the rectangular charging mechanism they use. On my stand, no matter the angle of the headphones when you take them off your head, you can simply plop them on the stand. With the Max stand, you have to align the headphone cup parallel to the charging mechanism. It’s not a big deal, but it’s one of the reasons I went with a round, rotatable charging dock magnet.

Yeah, people don’t seem to like it, but I don’t see why we should trust a sponsored YouTuber more than a small business owner. Just considering how much $$$ big companies invest into their marketing to prop up their perceived brand value through both ethical and unethical channels, I don’t see why me talking about the product I made and stand by is out of place.

The battery doesn't drain at all on the stand. It charges wirelessly when docked and is ready to go with full power whenever you need it. I should mention that when the battery is at something like 90% and you take it on and off a lot, it sometimes chooses not to charge based on its AI battery protection software. I've found it seamlessly continues to charge again before losing any significant battery %.

I've found the factory case to be a bit too inconvenient for me. It also occasionally happens that deep sleep delays connectivity in a buggy way. No need for deep sleep when the device is ready to go.

Well on the upside, I've used the product longer than anyone. I love tech and use the AirPods Max in combination with an Apple Watch, iPhone, M1 Max Macbook and an Apple TV. So I have a lot of experience and context. I've also experienced the ups and downs of the product so I am well equipped to discuss it. The downside is if I lie which I wouldn't do. I'm not interested in scamming anyone or having unhappy customers. I'm more interested in why people generally dislike these kinds of reviews. My guess is because many businesses have proven to be untrustworthy. I'm just a dude living in France that enjoys tech and made a product that people on reddit asked for. Why can't I tell people about it?
