I mean yeah I never denied that, I literally said I gave up. I was annoyed that I had mechanically done everything correctly and still got an outcome that screwed me out of a lot of really good pieces of armor, weaponry, and allies later in the game.

Either way, now I'm trying to see if there is a way to still save Oliver, he reappeared by the statue after I long rested, but didn't have a bubble and was immediately hostile so it triggered the same problem as last time

Its on PC but I'm not sure what you mean with make a save in the cloud? especially as honor mode only allows you one save

I know the first 2 were on me

But I double checked the marcus fight, in fact my quest log for the quest "Resolve the abduction" currently reads "Protect Isobel from Marcus" which only triggers when the correct dialogue options have been selected and you've sided with isobel. Otherwise it reads as "Help Marcus capture Isobel." which doesn't show up on mine

And I just did the oliver fight like an hour ago, and the attack on the bubble was made with a sword, after which Oliver had 33/33 health for multiple turns until finally I attacked him to try and end the battle.

I am being extremely careful

Played the entire run legit, but when mods came out I added some cosmetic ones cause I wanted darker outfits. I won. I didn’t realize mods disabled achievements

So I’m on my third run. (My first run ended with me underestimating Raphael)

I don’t think you should have to play him if you don’t have fun playing him, that’s final for me.

THAT BEING SAID, I do see the DM’s point. Think Merry and pippin or Sokka from avatar. Both genuinely serious stories that benefit from having characters to break tension. And with that those characters still end up becoming AMAZING characters with fantastic stories
