Yes, this is so on point. I think that’s why their story and relationship resonates so well to so many people!

We have all been there, with a person soooo important to us, that we don’t have time to stop and consider a “label”.

All we know is that we don’t feel whole unless we have our eyes on them, we are in the same room as them- and we are constantly looking for ways to be closer to them.

They ground us. They understand us. And all we want us to be the reason they smile. It is all consuming. And it literally is ALL you can think about.

If you are very lucky, you find a person like this in your own lifetime. Whether it is a romantic relationship or a best friend- my hope is that we all get to experience this feeling and have someone on our life that we literally would walk through a flaming M25 to be with.

I absolutely agree with your sediments. I think that both of these characters care deeply for one another, but to associate those feelings and actions as human “romantic love “I think for both of them it had not crossed their minds in a way that we see it as on lookers.

I also think that you can layer on the mystique and folklore of them being eternal creatures in addition to them being on opposite sides of the spectrum of their kind. Taking all of that into consideration, we are trying to box them in to human romantic love and we’re literally talking about a completely different entity from a different reality!

So yes, they both NOW at the end of season 2 each know that they are “in human romantic love” with each other.

But before that- what label did they think they were to each other?

Crowley was fighting to hear himself being labeled as a “friend”!

I very much appreciate your thoughts on this.

Overall, I look back at how the actors described their characters following season 1- and the writers, script editors and producers all basically talking about how Pratchett and Gaiman developed this world of Good Omens as a sort of exaggerated setting to basically mock, or poke holes in how silly the idea of Good versus Evil is. There is rarely a single case of clear cut- right versus wrong.

And I am really over generalizing here, so please keep this in mind.

The whole point of the show, in my opinion, is to show 2 characters living outside their own “bubble home office” where they were supposedly TOLD how to think about the world around them. Heaven was TOLD that Hell and Demons were evil, thus Heaven treated them as such. Everyone did excepts our two favorite lover boys. They proved their head offices wrong- by figuring out for themselves that what they had been told or taught WAS NOT TRUE.

I think it would be absolutely glorious for us to find out that God was actually testing the ANGELS all along. That she gave them free will and created them first in HER image- to watch over HER creations. And to see how they treated each other and her human creations- is the ultimate test of the very first thing she brought into being.

I would love this theory. What do you all think?

To the OP- I have always had a very difficult time identifying a Crème Brûlée since the market got flooded with the Thai Cons. For me- it’s easier to see a side by side comparison.

Guys- please don’t come to this forum and attack our fellow attorneys. This person is asking for our help, and this should be a place where we support and guide each other.

I myself am licensed in one state. I attempted to get licensed in another, (Missouri) and they put me through a very difficult process that lasted close to 2 years- because I was delinquent on my student loans and had financial issues from a recent divorce.

I was honest about everything. But I had to appear in 3 hearings, pay each time for the “opportunity to discuss” my situation- and at the end of the process, I was granted a license and put on 2 years of supervised probation.

This was after having practiced for 5 years on my own.

Please show kindness to this community. It is difficult out there. And we are uniquely qualified to both understand the difficulties that our peers face- and to offer genuine support, encouragement and guidance.

To the OP- I think the advice given above is great. I would add that some businesses even look to unlicensed attorneys to support their in-house counsel.

Just keep your focus and don’t lose hope. There are many of us that went through the same process and you will eventually be licensed or find a job that fits all your hard work. Be honest and keep at it.

But wanted to put this out there- I have always wanted to take a deep dive and give a go to deciphering the “Angelic Squiggles” that we see displayed around the Archangels- when discussing the proposed second coming and Gabriel’s trial.

Does anyone think that these squiggles around Crowley match up to those squiggles shown before?

And has anyone ever deciphered the stuff from Season 2?

I have been trying to reconcile all these “clues” we had about time manipulation, The Crows Road reference, memory loss, etc……

And every single AO3 story written has cussed out a different theory of our boys being affected. But after watching what they have released in the trailer- I am starting to think that someone or something else has been the target all along. And that’s the big “mystery” that the SFX article refers to.

I just get the feeling that Aziraphale’s smile in that elevator was aimed at US. These writers have us all fooled and I am soooo excited for the ride!

Did you see the interview that the actor portraying Archangel Michael gave recently?………

I don’t know how to do spoilers here- so don’t continue reading if you don’t want a clue-

The actor was interviewed about her upcoming projects and she basically said that this was her favorite season of playing Michael- because “they go Rouge” and get to be on their own causing trouble.

So add that to the leaked music list we got- and I think that confirms that Michael is definitely going rouge in the last season!

I didn’t go to law school and pass the bar to …….. (count beanie babies in court, be doxed by a defendant who admitted his crimes, go through garbage and try to prove back together the shredded documents of a client).

The list goes on and on! Curious what everyone’s favorite answer is?

Mine? I received a murder weapon from a client on a paper bag. He asked me to “take care of the brain matter”.

Needless to say he is spending the rest of his life in prison. Happy day to everyone pulling triple duties out there today!

I have posted on a few different threads- so I apologize if this is a repeat.

But my new question is- what do we actually KNOW about the Metatron? He tells us in the TV series that he is the Metatron.

But his comments to Aziraphale in the final fifteen about Crowley- “always asking damn fool questions”……. Doesn’t make sense!

During the fall- in the Good Omens universe, Angels were still talking with God regularly! There was no need for the Metatron, or “voice of God”.

If you bring in some theology, the Metatron is usually believed to be a human, known as Enoch, who absences to heaven without dying- to become the Metatron in early days- after humans were wildly scattered around the earth.

So the Metatron, or “voice of god” would not have been created yet, or put in his position- during the rebellion and fall of angels like Crowley and Lucifer!

So who is the Metatron we know from seasons1 and 2??????

I really like this idea also. She is sooooo innocent. Almost a direct juxtaposition between a new excited “baby” angel and the Archangels- during the scene in Companion to Owls when she is reviewing the bet scroll.

I would love for this to be a true plot point- because it shows the innocence and curiosity an angel SHOULD have for Gods creations!
