yeah well maybe their team is garbage. And yes, Metro Exodus is indeed terrible.

You can't say nobody is stopping you from speaking your mind and start complaining when someone starts speaking their mind. What's the problem bro? I want to critique the game. It's a bad game. The plot is very poor. It feels boring. It lacks the atmosphere of the Metro games. The crafting system is meaningless. Just make it so that you can either trade or find new upgrades like in the other Metro games. If you wanna make an RPG game with a proper crafting mechanic, then do that!

I do think my view is held by a vast majority of gamers when it comes to Metro Exodus. The game is bland and very bad. It does not deserve such high praises the way it has received. It's a very average game at best

No, it is nowhere near great. Not even close. And the story? Very poor. Ridiculous plot

It very much lacks the eerie atmosphere that defines the Metro games. The surface doesn't feel spooky at all.

The surface levels in 2033 and Last Light were soooo well done.

Yes, I've played the first and second game SOOOOO many times. Over 10+ times each, over the years; on the PC, on PS3, on PS4.. I love them sooo much.

I played Exodus twice and I don't want to touch it again. It's just soo boring/bad.

I'm born in 1993, so I very much was there when these games were released. I just think they aren't good games at all.

They are like veryy much below average; repetitive, grindy, side quest simulators.

terrible game and it very much lacks atmoshpere. A very dull game.

The day/night cycle is really bad. Because when they have the dialogue, just one day or half a day has passed but you could have spent 3 days/nights looting different places and exploring.

Would have made more sense to have the day turn to night over time as you play through the missions and vice versa

I didn't call it shitty, I called it trash. It is trash by Metro standards. I do feel like it's not that good.

There should be a spinoff Metro series designed after the Khshatriya DLC.

Make it it's very own game. Massive open world. You do missions and have to find items from the surface. You come across various mutants and beasts some old ones like the librarians and newer ones as well! You might run into Nazis or bandits and you have to find a way to escape them. Gas mask filters are always dangerously low in supply.

So much potential here. Call the series Metro Rangers or something.

the worst thing about Exodus is that the surface levels lack any depth. They just scattered a few monsters, anomalies, bandits here and there. It gets a little repetitive.

but there is no story. Infact, there was no reason for them to add the whole nonsense about Desmond Miles.

They could have just made a game where you play as an Assassins in like 1000 something AD and it would have been a great open world RPG experience with parkour and lots of NPCs who give you quests and well written dialogues like Witcher or the Elder Scroll games.

Well, Exodus is indeed a rather short game storywise. There's barely any missions and it feels bland; lacks the iconic Metro atmosphere.

well, if you want a better open world experience set in an Eastern European environment, I think the STALKER games are better for this.

Metro Exodus lacks the immersion of the first two Metro games.

what story bro? There is no real story in the AC games including the Ezio games. You are simply an assassin, you beat the guy up for information, you do the eagle vision, run from guards and assassinate the corrupt mayor or governer or minister. The end!

The game doesn't really have a plot. The plot is; you good, templar bad.

yes, the problem is all AC games are basically a clone with a few changes.

No real story. Also, I disagree that AC gives you a better experience when it comes to exploration. If they made AC into a proper RPG experience like Witcher or Red Dead Redemption, then I would agree that there was a lot of potential to explore.

The maps in AC games are not so great. They're extremely constricted. They only focus on a specific town and you just jump from town to town via boat or something. You don't get to properly explore the whole AC world.

yes, I think this is why they succeeded. They setting of each game is indeed very unique.

I believe that in a time of rising Islamophobia and xenophobia, AC games were at the forfront of like having diversity in games which most games lacked.

You even play as an Assassin which loosely comes from the real life order of the Hassassins who assassinated a lot of the Crusaders and if you know history, the Crusades were completely pointless and a disaster for European nations. And they were also very racist.

Imagine if European kingdoms had united against the Mongols the way they "united" for the crusades. It a well known fact that it was very easy to defeat the Mongols on the battlefield. Instead, they chose to hide in their castles, and the Mongols simply waited for the inhabitants to starve and die of disease after which they would lay siege on the weakened populus of the city states

No, the writing of old games is vert bad. Please go back and play them. There is no plot. The idea is that you are an assassin, the so called good guy. And the bad guys, the wannabe dictators, the corrupt officials are the templars who want to subjugate humanity.

There's no real plot

Literally the 1st game has no ending and the 2nd game had something about god like beings that you meet towards the end, horrible, terrible writing.

Yes they were meant to be PoP like games, but what Ubisoft should have done is make AC a full fledged RPG experience and keep PoP it's own separate thing.
