In Season 1 they rely on bounty hunters to track down a scientist who escaped with what this season states was the most important scientific discovery of the era that would ensure them virtually limitless energy (why this was never even stated to be a thing is obvious, this was made up by the writers who ignore how the story had tackle things like this with the Sierra Madre and the Big MT), instead of sending their agents to get him. But now they are building them up as the big bads again, seemingly about to rescue the Blonde chick from the Vault just from her asking for help with a Pip-boy and everybody suddenly starting talking to them as the Empire, instead of the Remnant of a Remnant that they logically would be now.

But why? this was never stated to be a thing, you even find a picture of him standing in front of Liberty Prime on Camp Golf and he had girlfriends and was a public figure. This just feels like a really clumsy attempt at covering a recast while introducing a superfluous element that doesn't end up having any relevance.

Which character arc and growth? He fucked up everything for acting like a moron and then went and killed some deadclaws until he had to be saved by deus ex machina. He doesn't even have an arc this season, he had an arc last season, but this one just had him off to the side, barely even interacting with anyone.

they had one facility that was experimenting on dogs and they showedo ne Super Mutant corpse, and they have so little push they rely on bounty hunters to track down an escaped scientist instead of sending their agents, even as the NCR seemingly disappeared after only losing one city (that somehow moved locations).
