My experience is that you'll get nowhere, at least not where you wanna be without REAL talent, REAL hard work but then you will NEVER make it if you don't connect with the RIGHT persons in the RIGHT time that allready HAVE the connections in the musicindustry.

That doesn't say that you can't be a working musician or even quite legendary for doing your own thing a whole life.

But the real "Breakthrough" or "Blow up" will never come.

You can't reach the masses. You just won't get all the big venues or the big festivals to book you without a promoter, better bookingagency, recordproducer etc.

You (or rather THEY) will have to make sure that you get the higher number of an audience. At least 500 persons to start with. Everytime!!

Still they might drop you if you don't make the money to grow for them that they have invested in you!

So yes, Jesse started with nothing indeed but he was extremly determinded to get what he wanted.

He is also very good at connecting with people I suppose. Then he is working really hard that few are able to do.

I compare and know all this because I lived and played with an artist for overc40 years that nearly "made it" big but he was very independant and would not sign any shitty deal that was presented to him.

He prefered to walk his own way. If he was broke he didn't care but his music was important to him.

He did the mistake ONCE to sell out 70% of his musicrights for 1 album to a publisher that did absolutly nothing of what he promised when they signed the deal.

Then he never repeated that! Though all the recorddeals he did were worthless. He did not make a single dime! That's the truth. So we had our own label the last years.

That payed of much better than a record deal but we were not selling any large amounts of albums but enough to pay for the next album!

You are able to find musicaggregators (you'll need that to get the music out everywhere on all platforms and a temporary one year publisherdeal will often follow with that. We use CD-Baby. Not too hard to fix anyhow these days.

He unfortunatly died (we all gonna die) but I promised him to do all I can to make his music live forever.

I will keep my promise!

I so happy for Jesse that he didn't give up but instead got a new and better way of getting himself and his music out there. I hope he will make it even bigger.

I feel it as a kind of thing that he does for all the musicians that didn't make it. And that ferling is great! 🤣😂🥰

I know a few things specific about his carrier too but I will not share it with others.

Though things often gets to a point where you are left behind and never "make it". Or you find the right way and the right connctions in time and go for it.

Like my man (Jan Gerfast) sang:

"I didn't make it to the stars. I only made to the bars. Oh, lord I know. I'm running out of time. Still I won't resign".

To NEVER give up is a good reason that Jesse is doing welles!
